I didn't realize there was such a thing as a "generic dwarven city". I've been wasting money on the brand name for years!

I for one am very excited about this game.

Yes, but here is an example of where the art direction can give it a distinctive flavor that feels like there was a culture and history behind it. Unlike, say, Risen...

It's a city underground. There isn't much more you can do with it. With no sky to bring in a lot of light you can't use a bunch of colors.

It may be cliche but it's by far the best looking dwarven city I have ever seen.

Why does the dwarven city has to be underground in the first place?

Because that's what dwarfs do, silly. It's like asking why they have to be short.

  • Melmoth
Melmoth one thing i never cared for was leaks hours/days before official announcement, especially during gameshows.. so if we see less of that i'm not going to complain :D (36 minutes ago)
  • Moonwalker
Moonwalker Really odd. Just now I got a bad gateway error on GAF and now it's back again, with no forums. (38 minutes ago)
  • KORNdog
KORNdog @Melmoth: any news i ever posted here was from gaf. I imagine it's going to slow going for news from now on. Lol. (38 minutes ago)
