VERY nice gore. that poor woman has an hexagonal head tho...lol

im playing fear files on 360 atm, and while its still got some of the best AI in the business, with really solid, viceral shooting. its just far too boring overall. and i expect this to be the same....since, well...it looks the same.

Holllly

Shit

That is some DAMN fine blood... Do I see DoF on the blood? If so it's pretty cool. Man... I'm glad they improved on the pink mist... As much as I loved the pink mist, this is superior

Impressive!!
I just hope the AI is as good or better than in F.E.A.R. For me the AI in Fear in still the best by far. Using cover, making cover (remember when the baddies would push furniture over to hide between or to stop you getting at them), shooting at you while running away injured, out flanking you etc etc. Man, what a great game it was.
I hope this game will be a big improvement not a disappointing "lets make money" sequel.

Don't know when FEAR turned a complete 180 and became Doom 3 and space sci-fi? I guess this is their way of trying to completely differentiate from the 1st game, and the only connection being the little red dress girl :|

On the contrary, it looks COMPLETELY DIFFERENT. Maybe you should get your eyes checked, because in FEAR I saw redundant grey office or hospital buildings. Here, I see crazy sci-fi freak enemies and the 4 shot showing a post-apocalyptic setting. Plus, it's not even the FEAR engine. Or even looks anything remotely to it.

looks good but its no gears of war lol

pretty sure it is the fear engine. looks the same to me, same sort of guns, same sort of enemies, same boring environments, same dust particles flying all over the place. its more of the same.

Yup, still looks like a PC game that was made a couple of years ago. But anyhow, FEAR wasn't exactly the best looking game either, and it still was loads of fun.

same boring environments
Right, because in the first FEAR we traveled in the subways, after escaping a city that was just destroyed by a nuclear bomb. It may be the same engine, it may be a little dated, but it still looks awesome. Just more of the same ole dated criticism, even though that's not what we see in these screenshots.

Hell, those are different enemies and that's a different basic weapon. Nevermind that FEAR was anything but boring.

I can't wait to see how this all ends personally.. and how the revelations from the first FEAR effect this game. More of the same.. you know it's a sequel right?

you could tell a huge fear fan.:D before the last consoles came out it was all about fear combat(which was free BTW), pinning guys to walls with the penetrator, i just hope they don't treat the PC version as an afterthought this time.

I don't think they will.. if anything the console versions have always seemed like more of an afterthought. Monolith is pretty good at the multiplatform thing though.. just look at Condemned.. that game is pretty solid on both consoles and on the PC.

FEAR combat is fun btw.. not quite as fun as say, COD4, but it's still a solid DM game and you can't beat the price :)
