Looking good, I'm still afraid it it going to be RE4 with co-op, capcom seems to alter their series games only a bit from installment to installment. I want overhaul! Then again RE4 was one of the most polished games last gen so there isn't a whole lot to fix.
This and Gears 2 are some games I don't care about, they have no appeal to me. If I want co-op and killing zombies, I'm already getting Left 4 Dead. If I want a Resident Evil game, I want it for the survival horror like the old games, not like RE 4. Also, Dead Space is another alternative for this kinda game. So, for my wallet, I got other options to spend my money on.
But I will sure say this: The game looks damn pretty ;)
Oh boy .... A vehicle section in the game ?? Let's hope it's not thrown in there just for the sake of throwing something different in there. I hope it's done properly. Anyway game looks hot as usual.
Yeh, this looks absolutely gorgeous... but gameplaywise, I really dont know about this one... the Coop Movies just lookes so incredibly non Horror and bland dumb shooterwise....

i agree, but considering the franchise is so far gone in terms of going down the action route after resi 4....i'd rather they make resi 5 MORE action oriented, rather then 4 which was an awkward half step in that direction. i mean. resi 4 made an action game, it cut out the horror, it cut out the puzzles, and yet kept a slow, clunky control scheme....im hoping resi 5 brings the controls up to date for this game, cos if they dont and its still the clunky "stop/start" controls of resi 4, i'll pass.
also, lol @ the bikers flying through the air, its like ET during the day.

i think they're chaging the controls for this, they were gonna keep with the Resi 4 controls but have decided to go for a more gears of war style...apparently

I'm glad you started to change your direction at the end of your post. Yes, Resident Evil4 was ahead of its time and it hasn't really been matched even on todays consoles. They could use the exact same formula as Resident Evil4 and I'm sure no one will complain. Capcom couldn't screw this one up even if they wanted to. For those of you who want more of the puzzle solving in the game, I must admit the shooting slightly overshadowed that feature in Resident Evil4. Puzzle solving was there, but it was limited. I could use more puzzle solving in Resident Evil5.
glad to see that I am not the only one who miss the old Resident evil games with puzzles, zombies and a scary mansion. RE4 made me lose interest in RE.

Well maybe we (Puzzle, Horror) Fans want RE as it used to be.
Nope i am a huge resi fan and i do not want the old clunky controls back, but sure it wouldn't hurt if resi 5 had a bit more puzzels, but resi 4 was a huge improvement over the earlier games.
The Bio Hazard (RE) series has always been solid. RE4 was action oritened, more so, for sure than any other but then again when I really think about RE4 was the game changer. RE4 isn't about Zombies in a sense anymore. It's sad, but it has moved on as a series from classic horror. I wish the people/zombies were more like 28 Days Later or better yet Dawn of the Dead remake zombies and not these Aliens meets the thing type of whatever, but oh well.
If only we could get a male option for Co-op, not feeling the whole must be in a female role personally. Why couldn't the story be worked to give that option at the start? Example, make her partner up with someone else who either lives so she dies allowing you play as a male character or they die so you can play as her as it is now.? Giving us no option SUCKS.
Graphics are top notch and I expect this game to be a 5 star hit in the though.
