Mucho FUN!... powersliding around turns feels so good!
I wasn't much of a fan of rally games to begin with and this title didn't change that unfortunately.
I didn't like the game at all. So don't read any further if you're going to buy the game. I don't want to influence anybodys decision about buying the game or not.

so this is just my opinion:
i found the demo rather lame. the innovative and good looking ground deformation doesn't have a real influence on the handling of the car.
the chocolate-mud sticks to your car, but only to the side of it. there's actually no chance to get any mud on top of the car!?
and there's the feeling that you're driving on rails all the time... so you don't even have to break a single time and still win a race.
there's also no real physics, nor is there any damage model...
why would you buy the game then - because you love arcade games. the graphics look very 'arcade' and it plays even more arcade.
for me it would be good as an xbox live arcade download. but i would never pay 60$ for this.
i'll wait for the next DiRT with *hopefully* real online-play. and i prefer playing Motorstorm over the new SegaRally, where at least you have to break from time to time not to fall into a canyon.
best regards,
ScarJack

I love the game, though I haven't played the demo. perhaps it would change my mind on this game... nargh, don't think so. Sega did a good job on SR. Now waiting till release.
THough the next pgr may well off road riding...so prob leave both leave pgr4 and this alone unless the review are amazing. Can bide my time with all the other amazing stuff overloading the release schedule if need be though.
hi guys,

ground deformation makes a huge difference on next lap, graphics are great, mud looks great,
driving on rails - i didnt notice that myself.
and its meant to look like a arcade racer and its meant to play even more like an arcade racer, when i was 12/13 yrs old i played this every weekend in my local arcade, sega rally 2 when i was 15/16 was awesome and this feels exactly the same,it aint here to compete with motorstorm/dirt or any other racing game in the world.
FFS MAN ITS SEGA RALLY
GAME OVER YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
its pretty daft...
my accelerate finger really hurt after playing!
It handles better. But not being able to stray from the road really hurts.
Microsoft or EA needs to get Dice to do another Rallisport. Rallisport Challenge 2 is one of the best racing games I have ever played.
... But not being able to stray from the road really hurts...
i didn't want to offend anyone. and it's good if you disagree with what i wrote. that's what this discussion boards are for - to hear/share different opinions.
sure, you don't have to compare SEGA Rally with other rally games - but it's not forbidden - and such open discussions and different opinions from you guys often help me to decide whether to buy a game or not.
i might even consider to buy SEGA Rally - not due to its singleplayer part, but if it gets excellent reviews for its multiplayer part.
best regards!
ScarJack
