wow..looks like hot garbage, seriously, that character looks like the winner of some create a character sweepstakes, with the winner chosen at random..the anime face looks EXACTLY like the one included in SC3's create a character options (the anime face) the weapon design also sucks ass with a straw,.seriously, what is the point of all these new characters being chicks?

All I know is TEKKEN continues to be the same game time after time series after series... but Soul Calibur IV is looking amazing.

yeah, the elf does have some serious dudeface going on..crossdressing elf? WHY NAMCO??!!WHYYYYYYYYYY!??!series after series? i don't follow..Soul Calibur 4 is looking good, but if any of you HONESTLY think Stabby Knockers here is a great character design, maybe i'm out of touch, and should give up design altogether.

Angol Fear is a great character design, but it doesn't fit with the rest of the characters. Can't wait for the game, I just hope it plays great overall.

Angol Fear looks like it belongs in a Wii title... Super Smash Bros or something... out of place. Yoda looks incredible. I wonder if Vader and Yoda will be appearing on PSN and XBLM as DLC after the game is out for a bit? Since Yoda is only on 360 and Vader is on PS3, isn't that right?

I'm not sure if it's worse that there is a Star Wars character in each game, or the fact there is only ONE Star Wars character in each game. It makes it a bit more painful they don't even bother including anyone else from the universe to make the addition a bit less harsh.

I'd gladly take a Star Wars character over most of these new characters by "guest" designers. Boring and out of place is how I'd describe most of them.

EDIT: I just looked a few more of the images a bit longer. I really must say, Angol Fear is awful looking. She belongs in a wacky, slap-sticky jrpg, not my favourite kick-ass fighter. And the boring elf character doesn't have a dude face; it just happens to be that androgenous male leads look like chicks, not the other way around. Siegfried looks absolutely rad though!

That's true. A lot of popular anime male designs look very girly, which is why you lot think this elf character looks like a guy. This character is less feminine looking than the other female characters, though.
Anyway, I think this game is now in league with smash bros and all. Not a very serious fighting game, but probably good fun.

I was thinking the same thing about DLC and I hope so, I really want to play as Darth Vader too! :D (I'd even pay for it, up to a point.) Remember that Namco even had DLC for Soul Calibur on the Dreamcast?!

Why does the one character look like a freaking cartoon, set in a non-cartoon world with non-cartoon characters? The two newest characters (anime chick and elf girl) are ridiculous.. I don't like them. They're not quite as lame as the guest characters but they're worse than the entire SC3 cast combined.
