Images of Tenchu Z

Images of Tenchu Z

Microsoft released these images of Tenchu Z, to be released in the US next tuesday and in Europe at the end of this month. The game support online ninja:ing, for up to four players. The demo went up on Marketplace tonight, so what are you waiting for?! (Personally I'm waiting for the Shadowrun demo to finish)

Is there realy any excuse for a 360 game looking like that?.
Commented on 2007-06-07 22:36:38
Yup those graphics are shameful. I hope they dont charge full price for that

Dangerous, I consider your post as trolling. Have some respect for those good people. I'm one of them.

I also do think this looks bad, the second part of your comments is seriously based on your behind.

It looks liek crap but it plays pretty interesting. I wish they would just make a real next gen tenchu instead of dicking around with the polished ps2 graphics.

wii games look better than this. the gameplay better be remarkable if they expect to make any money on this shit....
Commented on 2007-06-07 23:33:29
it's not remarkable, not by a long shot.

Im willing to look past the graphics, i mean, 4 player coop, customizable ninjas, and i like the tenchu series.

oh and Dangerous, your comment about japanese games is completley unwarranted and flat out false. Not all JP game studios have enormous budgets to spend like western companies.

I played the Japanese demo ages ago, haven't played the new US one yet. I DID enjoy the demo, I'm not a graphics whore. I never played the previosu games but the demo was fun, getting to run around and be all stealthy on rooftops or just run in and hack n slash..

It looks much better than the prior images. I didnt like the gameplay vids much, but the multiplayer looks like it could have alot of potential provided they dont make it too easy. And the last picture is the funnest thing ive seen!!

Yup, me too. I'll wait for a price drop though as I can't justify $60 on this one to myself.

I had a great time with the demo. That said this is my first time playing a tenchu game.

Great game! Can't wait to get it when it comes out. I just can't stop playing the demo I just like finding new ways to kill and all the replay value it has.

About the game

What's up?
  • droezelke
droezelke @Melmoth: Just read up on it. Itls developped by a member of Crytek while still working for Crytek and is based of the CryEngine, but it is proprietary to Ubisoft. How that works in terms of royalties (2 Hours ago)
  • droezelke
droezelke @Melmoth: Is the Dunia Engine Crytek property? I don't think so (2 Hours ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX I mean they can keep upgrading it but why bother when they have more capable engines already. (15 Hours ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX I just think it shows its age in a lot of ways in FC5 and they have better tech so they should use it. (15 Hours ago)
  • Melmoth
Melmoth if they still pay royalties to crytech when using it they probably should (15 Hours ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX Although I think it's kinda time to retire Dunia. (15 Hours ago)
  • Melmoth
Melmoth @HR2: a lot of studios used modified UE3, games like Arkham Knight, XCom2, both being very problematic on pc. Interesting to see what those studios will do for their next games. (15 Hours ago)
