Wonder what the combat will turn out like, it can't be much worse than the "click on the mouse combat" the original on PC offers. Though ofcourse, it's impossible for a console game to do anything better than it's PC counterpart...that'd be ridiculous.
I was avidly following the PC version until I found out the combat was the kind of excel number fighting which I just find tedious, if the 360 version has proper "hack and slash" type combat I'll be well up for that :)
Excel numbers fighting? What's that even supposed to mean? It's all dice rolls ofc, but if you think that's changing in the console version you'll probably be disappointed.
Visually it looks... pretty simular if you ask me. The lighting seems to have been bumped up a bit though, but otherwise it just looks a little softer, which is actually aided by the loss of resolution. It looks good though. The models and other assets look identical though.
the medieval RPG genre is a somewhat over saturated right now
Agree with skeetskeet though, would be nice to see a Mass Effect clone or even a Too Human clone (done right). A few more sci-fi rpg's :)
Also agree with whatshisname above, the click click click controls were horrible :P
Even if its the same system, it may feel better on a console. Maby its just me but pressing a controller button is sort of softer than mouse-clicking 100 times a minute :P
can't wait. skipped also the pc version due limited pc hardware and i was really surprised after the 360 version has been announced. an rpg for real menfolk :) ...
so long, finster.
