Microsoft announces the coming of another vertical shmup, Triggerheart Exelica, which will be available on the american Xbox Live Marketplace on Wednesday 27th February. It is an upgraded version from the japanese one ; you have to destroy or capture the ennemies that fill the screen, trying to ruin your life. Wow, a REAL shmup for the arcade. Cool. Might just have to check tis one out. Like, it's probably not as good as Dangun Feveron, but it looks neat :)

That's the SECOND real hardcore shmup for American market only! And we never got Splash Tetris as well as some free games as well. WHY FOR FOCK SAKE?!

It's only for the US? Well, that sucks then.

Sweet, I'm getting this on day one. But there should be no reason why Europe should be snubbed.

europeans get the shaft again. I mean we only pay the most and wait the longest. We deserve all these drawbacks. <sarcasm>

THE GAME IS COMING TO EUROPE as well. From Gamerscoreblog:
"Triggerheart Exelica will be available worldwide for 800 Microsoft Points and is rated E10+ by the ESRB."

So there you have it. Why Kudgel insisted to use the US-prefix in front of the Marketplace I don't understand. It's almost certain that will lead to misunderstandings. Or Kudgel was misinformed, who knows. The fact stand though, Triggerheart will be available worldwide (excluding Korea, I assume).

About the game

What's up?

Moonwalker @KORNdog: Speaking of Spiders, I finished Technomancer yesterday. Fun game but dragged down by WAY too much backtracking and lack of different locations. (11 Hours ago)
  • Moonwalker
Moonwalker @KORNdog: I'm not far enough into the game yet but I heard the game world is very interesting and full of great quests with multiple choices. Those kinda things sound great to me. (11 Hours ago)
  • KORNdog
KORNdog i honestly think they'd do better making something on a smaller scale. like an isometric action RPG. that spiders (developer) could do with going that direction too. (12 Hours ago)
  • KORNdog
KORNdog @Moonwalker: it just looks like a typical game from them to me. like they bit off more than they can chew and the results are just mediocrity across the board. (12 Hours ago)
  • Moonwalker
Moonwalker @KORNdog: the facial animations are bullshit yes, animations in general are passable, combat isn't nearly as bad as I expected though. The world so far has been great, very very nice indeed. (12 Hours ago)
  • KORNdog
KORNdog @Moonwalker: it still looks all kinda of garbage though. lol (13 Hours ago)

Moonwalker tearing was horrible, not to mention loading times. Plus it really doesn't look too bad either. Trees and foliage swaying in the wind, nice lighting. Good job PB. course all the jank is still there :) (13 Hours ago)
