In the middle of a financial meltdown, Midway found the time to secure a deal with Ubisoft regarding Wheelman, its blockbuster starring Vin Diesel. A Vin who's nowhere to be found in the two screenshots the publisher released today, for shame.

As for the game I think it will need a demo to even stand a chance.

That has to be the blurriest game i have ever seen lol :P
I usually dont complain about blur/depth of field/bloom, but this, wow :D

If it's to stand a chance for me, Vin Diesel will need to come round to my apartment with a free, signed copy, then do the dishes and hoovering whilst I try it for half an hour.

Hard to believe a publisher would release screens of such low quality. They look like they were captured from a flash video.

I'm too distracted by Vinny D's nakkidness. That's right, I called him Vinny D. Anyway from my little peaks at the screenshots, they're very, very blurry and quite ugly.

Its not the game.
The screenshots have a huge amount of compression. its like if you were to take a youtube video and capture it from there.

Mr Fugly's fugly driving game...a bit too much of Vin Diesel in videogames of late but at least the Riddick games actually look good, this look fairly pointless.

...what on earth are you talking about? These screens aren't taken from a video, and compression doesn't suddenly blur the crap out of an image like this.

This reminds me of Wrecked on the XBOX. Loved that game (even though I nearly put my controller through the TV screen on several occasions...)

I think this has potential, Chase HQ on steroids!

it is predominantly driving tho, it's more of a driving game then it is an action adventure.

I was blown away by the demo. I DL'd it with no expectations and within the first 2 minutes I was floored. The vehicle handling is better than 99% of arcade racers. I thinking 'Sega Rally' in city streets. It's not great when you're trying to do 180' turns, but it's brilliant on straights and powerslides. Then- add in the special ability moves like cyclones and FPS mode and it's a blast. THEN add on the ability to car jack while in motion... hahahahah. WOW! It was a LOT of fun. Plus all the different modes in the demo.... great stuff.

I'm not saying it's a day one purchase- but I'll be keeping my eyes open for reviews and sales.
