2K Sports today announced new features for NHL 2k7, adding houndreds of animations to the game (which sometimes can be better than high-resolution textures). There are some really cool stuff in there, and it now seems like we have to choose: the best possible game with the old controls, or EA's new cool controls? Check out this trailer before you judge this game. Maybe I'll have both. Or just use the old control scheme in NHL 07.

LOL undobtedly yes.. but the game looks amazing... its the suttle details like the ice that really makes this game shine... The funny thing is we're still within the first year and a half of the 360, can you imagine what they will be able to push out come the 5th gen games on the 360.

Ya man....GEARS OF WAR is gonna be that 5th gen looking, gameplay type game.This looks OK.

EA's looks better graphically more than likely this will be a better game gameplay wise though.

^^^^Yea, cause if a game looks a bit worse visually from it's competition you know it's way better in the gameplay...

I'm no graphic whore, but this game looking worse than EAs hockey game doesn't make it a funner game... no one will know untill it's played... and that I'm not willing to do.. sports games suck.

Graphically, NHL 07 owns this game... badly. I'm not usually an EA fan, but I guess we'll have to wait till 2008 for 2K's NHL game to reach the graphical bar set by EA.

NHL2k6 was a really bad game, it must have been developed by people who haven't ever played hockey in real life... ever....

As much as it pains me to say it EA still makes the best Hockey games.
