just tossing lightening and blowing stuff up. don't get me wrong blowing stuff up is great fun! but it seems to be every-other second.
it has a touch of the star wars unleashed about it. good but gets tedious quite quickly.
i hope there's alot more depth to it.
And why did every enemy seem to be wearing the same red hoodie??
the only thing imo that is awesome is the airstrike thing.
i hope they fix the sound of the zapping it sounds to......zapperish.
god that was boring and annoying to watch, looks pretty, like the animation but erm yeah zap zap zap.
Why did they make him look so nonchalant as he combats his foes and shoots electricity? Doesn't look satisfying at all
Your character holds his hand up the entire game like he's in a classroom with a question
Mindless indeed

@korndog, looks really stupid when he sends out the electric blast. there's no "oomph" behind it just looks lazy.
I love lightning powers, so I have my ways of imagining how lightning should work as a power and this guy isnt using it unfortunetly.
For example Kakashi from Naruto is a good way to go.
Anyway, It looks pretty decent, not a fan of the animation, for example the running and jumping. And the climbing looks bad compared to Assassins Creed.
But its all good.
zap zap zap zap zap zap zap zap zap zap zap zap zap zap zap za...........
as i've said wityh prototype, as long as there is plenty of worthwhile stuff to do and the missions are varied enough (infamous does have more potential in that area then prototype) then it should be good, too early to say atm, it sure as hell look purdy tho.
In the space of one video i've seen the guy from prototype leap buildings to the point he's almost flying, steal helicopters, throw cars, morpth into people, and kill tanks.
I've seen the infamous guy shoot out lightening from his hand..complimented by the bad animation in doing it.
Don't get me wrong, i'm still interested in playing infamous, but we know nothing of the variety in missions in either game yet. Only that prototype seems to be a hell of alot more flexable in the variety of action it offers.
What makes you say infamous has more potential in the variety of its missions? other than the fact that its a ps3 exclusive and prototype isnt ofcourse.

infamous however is less of a spider-man open world game, and more of a shooter. its slower paced and less frantic. with smaller more confined and thought out battles. not just outright mindless mayhem
the fact we have yet to see anything besides pure destruction in prototype indicates to me that its a one trick pony and thats all the game has to offer. sort of like mercs 2. you did the same old shit over and over and over because thats all the game was.... pure destruction. but if you enjoy that sort of limited repetition, then im sure prototype is the game for you.
