Is it me or this game going to take away the spotlight from Team Ico & Ueada San's "The Last Guardian" ...definitely reminded me of Ico in the least.

Fot me...nothing can steal the attention from Ueda Fumito's games. But yes....this looks fantastic too.

Aside from a single original idea (being invinsible outside of raindrops) I really don't see what this game has to offer in terms of pure gameplay. It feels empty and meaningless to me at the moment.

Massive ico vibes, for that reason alone its a day one. And to think, I almost forgot about it.

that's what Ico had going for it - it seems that only a handful of gamers get it at times ... it's one of those games you don't play for action or intense madness - it's a simple point a to point b with strong story ... definitely not made for everyone

Games like this are why I have a PS3. Hopefully with Sony's new found love of indie dev, we'll see a lot more like it on PS4.

I never played Ico so I can't judge it but I finished SotC and I hated it passionately at the end. I can give this new game a try but I'm not even close of expecting it being a Spirited Away of the console gaming.

LOL - I'm not laughing at you by the way. But your comment shows me that at least you have to guts to say how you feel or felt about it. Good point none the less.

GriftGFX And you need the script extender for stuff like SkyUI. (50 minutes ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX script extender functionality (at least temporarily) (51 minutes ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX Even games with robust toolkits are often enhanced by third party tools. Skyrim is a good example. There's still a lot of folks playing the original version on the PC because the re-release broke (51 minutes ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX Ironically the last thing I had to hack to get to run correctly was a Microsoft Game Studios title. That bodes well for the future :P (52 minutes ago)
  • Melmoth
Melmoth i have run some injectors/hacks on a few games to fix certain limitations of resolution or such, but not since Dark Souls 1. (58 minutes ago)
  • Melmoth
Melmoth i rarely use mods. last time was xcom2, and that supports mods out of the box. I'm not that into replacing models in WWE, GTAV or SFV. But ofc, for people who live for that stuff it's not a good thing (59 minutes ago)
