Looks like they've really improved it.
1000 square miles is ridiculous, most of it will be long stretches of copy/paste nothingness obviously, but somehow it's still admirable that they're aiming for such scope.
Looks like fun anyways, will be keeping an eye on this one for sure!
I just hope this one doesn't punish you for roaming around and goofing off... the same went for Dead Rising.
The visuals are a bit hit-and-miss, but at it's best the game can look amazing! Pretty impressive engine they've got there I must say.

You just pointed out the only sandbox game out there that actually punishes you for goofing around, and that's because Capcom are a weird bunch. I don't think you have anything to worry about.
A little off topic, but does anyone know yet if they fixed that problem for Dead Rising 2 that you were discussing?

Other than that, this game could be incredible! Let's home the game play makes me forget these tiny graphical deficiencies.
