You may have read about it in some magazine, but Eidos today officially announced Kane & Lynch: Dead Men for Xbox 360 and PC. IO Interactive, the Hitman series developers, are doing the game and will be finished with it next year. See the first images inside.
Eidos themselves writes:
Kane & Lynch: Dead Men is a dark and gritty tale of two men bound by circumstance as they wait on death row for their final sentence. One is a flawed mercenary, the other a medicated psychopath. The two are forced to embark on a violent and chaotic journey, hating each other every step of the way.
Kane & Lynch: Dead Men is a story-driven, fully co-operative third-person action shooter title, with intuitive crew mechanics, heavily populated destructible real-world scenarios, a volatile partnership and brutal attitude.
@droezelke: Streaming in 8k... maybe (21 minutes ago)
@KORNdog: I don't believe there will be a PS6. By that time I suspect it will become a streaming service. (37 minutes ago)
the problem we have as fans of the single player component is that R* have a ridiculously popular online element. one i imagine it's difficult for them to walk away from to make a new mainline GTA (46 minutes ago)
and we likely won't even see a GTA7 until PS6 (48 minutes ago)
and the gap between GTA4 and 5 was 5 years. the gap between GTA:SA and GTA4 was 4 years. i'd imagine the gap between GTA 5 and 6 will be 7 years, it'll release on PS4 and PS5 (50 minutes ago)
plus that list including a lot of titles no-one cares about in regards to R* output. beatarator? midnight club? chinatown wars? what people really want is a new GTA. (52 minutes ago)
and last of us part 2 probably will be releasing towards to close of the generation. they're output has essentially halved. (55 minutes ago)
