Because it's an offset of Bushido Blade. They just need to back and redo Bushido Blade, but then I head most of the people that made Bushido Blade sprung off to different companies.

So long as it goes back to its Bushido Blade roots (which it probably won't) it could be good;

Bushido Blade was amazing. I recognize some of the sounds in the game wich where in Bushido Blade. At first I wasn't impressed by this game. But the swordfighting is really nice. The swords actually make contact etc

That actually looks pretty cool, the graphics look pretty good in motion as well. Too bad it will probably never get a release outside Japan.

Lol, Genki is just awful.

Is this a fighting game?

I am so underwhelmed.

Looks not pretty. I though japanese were good in making games, they probably aren't good at making games for xbox though. (excluding Dead Rising @ Enchanted Arms) :)

This game has some good ideas but doesnt execute them very well from what the trailer show's anyway, to slow for a samurai, they're supposed to be fast and have split second relfexes..these guys look and move like the just got off the couch!!

Watching that really made me wish Square was working on another Bushido Blade. :)

That would be sooooo awesome. When I first bought my Xbox 1 and looked at the list of upcomming Xbox 1 games, on that list the game "Bushido Blade X" was marked, I got so hyped for that shit... it never saw daylight...

About the game

What's up?
  • KORNdog
KORNdog so it retained the photorealism of filmed footage, but you could still lean in and around and everything would shift with perspective. (47 minutes ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX @KORNdog: I saw a few recent 360 cameras being advertised as VR cameras and they're 2D. I think 360 video is pretty cool in general though. (47 minutes ago)
  • KORNdog
KORNdog sony did quite a cool thing with a violin solo guy where they filmed it all with 3D cameras. but then converted all the elements into a 3D scene running in unity. (47 minutes ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX I can kinda imagine VR in something like Battlefield being pretty incredible too but I'm not sure how well that would work with most people's stomachs. (48 minutes ago)
  • KORNdog
KORNdog @GriftGFX: yeah, i can't say i've seen any though. even the stuff on youtube is stereoscopic. it just requires a fixed head position. no leaning forward etc. (49 minutes ago)
  • KORNdog
KORNdog it can even stay third person, seeing as bound and the playroom VR platformer work really well. apparently FROM are making something for VR now though. i'm hoping for a new kings field. (50 minutes ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX Getting annoyed at people marketing 2D 360 video as "VR" though.. that's not good enough. It's cool, but it's not good enough. (51 minutes ago)
