Sounds like a lot of story in there, which is a good thing imo, though.
Word on Eurogamer from someone who played it is that this is rather more good than great... just a warning if you're overexcited!

I'm still buying it because of the batarang and ofcourse because of Batman. And other than Wolfenstein, there isn't any other summer game worth mentioning imo.
The rumours about the Eidos embargo on reviews (you know what I mean), scare me a little for this game. Only 2 reviews are available, both outside the embargo, both cover stories and both 9/10 or above. Suspicious at least.

Dont most publishers use ninebargo these days?
Been too long of a drought for me as far games go..
Yes. Don't quite get the whole roar over the issue. Nearly every other publisher does the same thing.
Could it be that you didn't hear the rumour that Eidos would only allow reviews that score over 9/10 and the game must be placed on the cover of the magazine? (Remember Kane and Lynch and the review from Gerstman on Gamespot, also Eidos). I wasn't talking about AN embargo, I was talking about the conditions that Eidos is imposing on reviews, which make them completely unreliable.
That is the same thing as ANY OTHER EMBARGO. Or did you not notice exclusive reviews from other sites giving 9s or higher to games and movies?
I always thought the embargo's were there to prevent reviews from appearing too soon, so people would buy the game uninformed. But I didn't know that publishers were posing conditions on reviews, which is a step too far imo.

Anyway, embargos and good score reviews happen all the time. Remember GTA IV, MGS 4?
Do people still believe the Kane and Lynch rumours? It was never proven, you know...

It was never denied also, not even by Gerstman himself. So I guess it's every man's choice to believe what he wants ;o)
