This is a game that really surprised me. I'm playing it on PC and I love it. The reviews are a bit too harsh on this game. IGN calls it repetitive, which is something it's not at all. If you don't want to know anything about the game, don't read any further. For example: First mission: civil war trenches and more. Second missions: save your family from the house mansion (with even some open field gameplay). Third mission: a wild stage coach ride. And the list goes on. It's incredibly diverse.

The graphics are very good with some great effects. The shootouts are intense. The story is great. And it is a major improvement over the first CoJ.
The multiplayer is good, nothing spectacular, but still fun and will get better once players get used to the different modes.

I give this game 8.5/10.

i finished part 1 and i loved part 1 , but this one is a shocker , it blows.
they ruined it . i like the wild west , but i was shooting people in an army .
i lost interest.

That is the prologue. After that it's all wild west. The prologue is an important part of the story.

I really hope a demo is released at some point, as I want to give it a go to decide whether my judgement is at all accurate. The first game had a demo, so I see no reason why this can't have one.

I will pick this up in December during the Steam Boxing day sale for super cheap
