Nope, it's all about run and gun :)
You don't have time to take cover anyways, since you only have like 10 seconds in between kills, lest you combo starts draining.

The game really makes me want to try again and again just to push my score a little higher. So far i've managed to score the 2600 000 points needed for the hardest difficulty in the demo, but i die at the end of the level.

The demo was awesome. Have potential in the multiplayer as well (did try the splitscreen with another dude but multiplayer these days are all about online). I just hate the fact that I tend do suck as these fast phased action score based shooters. My performance at the demo was pretty shabby, so will probably wait to pick it up when its down twenty-thirty bucks.

Pros:
Its not made by EA
It has Multiplayer/Splitscreen but...see Cons list for why it will fail.

Cons:
Splitscreen (needs to be split like HALO and NOT Vertical !!!! )
Player movement is slow (feels like your walking around with cinder blocks around your ankles)
Camera to low (gears of war like)
Cheesy graphics (thats just Sega tho)
Stupid game types (get 30 kills under 1min and escape)

Halo 3's splitscreen is shit though, they reduce the size greatly on a HD screen.
Which demo did you play? None of the demos have the fast moving characters, and the PS3 only has the slowest character.
I would have preferred a first person view myself
How are the graphics 'cheesy'? It's not being made by Sega, only published by them, and I think the graphics are really great.
The game modes are very 'arcade', I can understand how some gamers won't like it, but I love this kind of gameplay (scores / leaderboards / no crappy story).

Don't like these kinds of arcade shooters. Could work in multiplayer online, but i don't see myself playing this on my own.

The slowness is just part of the character.
I aslo hope they fixed the camera, and also fixed the control scheme for the xbox360 version.
