LBP2 : community

LBP2 : community

LittleBigPlanet 2 on PS3 was released on Tuesday 18 January 2011. Want to get some news?

• Community Update: the game has acquired 3.6 million levels online (first LBP's stages included).

• The LBP Community got a brand new resource, in the shape of then LittleBigPlanet Wiki.

This Wiki, much like LittleBigPlanet itself, is community-driven and will continue to expand and evolve thanks to the contributions of none other than yourselves, the LittleBigPlanet community.
• "Chinese New Year" and "Groundhog Day" DLC now available. These costumes are LBP1 and LBP2 compatible and only available for a limited time.

• And, last but not least, here's a new batch of movies.

The higher ups should use LBP to make more of those little pictures in the main header thing. Get rid of the Rabbids for a change, even though it looks pretty cool.

Imagine, billions of people coming just to see the new picture of the week.
Millions of dollars would be made, and everyone would live happily ever after.

It's an amazing game, you definitely should. So much content and so much variety, plus you can play/create/share literally ANYTHING you can think of. FPS, TPS, RPG, RTS, side scroller games or anything else you can imagine. A very strong GOTY contender, for sure.

About the game

What's up?
  • Melmoth
Melmoth but will third party dare to invest in big projects that would ship in 2-3 years? that's the critical part. i'm guessing we'll see a lot of early 3rd party support consisting of low-risk projects. (1 minute ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX They really did throw all of their might behind the 3DS.. which for whatever reason they decided was more important. (1 minute ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX It took WiiU far too long to get stuff like MK8, 3D World, and Smash. Had Nintendo been able to supply more first party software I think it would have sold better. (2 minutes ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX The launch lineup is sparse, but Zelda will drive adoption throughout March and April.. easily. They just need to keep them coming. (3 minutes ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX I've wanted Nintendo to make a hybrid console since before they announced a hybrid console. This is far more exciting to me than another "me too" box. (3 minutes ago)
  • Melmoth
Melmoth it's gonna be interesting to see how the sales/reception of the switch is. if we'll see the same vicious circle as with the Wii U (4 minutes ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX No.. I just implied that you can't assume that there's an overwhelming demand for more power based on forum anecdotes. (4 minutes ago)
