I hope that there being no demo isn't telling, though if I'm being honest at its best I expect this game to serve as a side dish to the meatier games that get or will get released. If it recieves a good reception I'll get it when it hits the the bargain bin (which will probably be the day after release) :).
The game certainly seems to be falling on deaf ears. It's a combination of timing as straight after e3 everyones still marginally dazzled by the games that impressed that current releases start to look rudimentary, and the fact that it's coming out in a period that has seen Max Payne 3, Ghost Recon AW, Dragons Dogma (and dare I mention Dirt Showdown). All this further emphasises why I think a demo was needed (or at the very least would've helped), but hey maybe somebody over there reads this and releases a demo in 2 days.

Well, Famitsu gave it 36/40. Just sayin'.
You definitely need some distance. I will not say more until I finished it myself.
