It looks like DjMizuhara's Xbox 360 is dead for good this time (and again), but he still managed to send us one last video of Lost Odyssey. It's a realtime cutscene where Jansen once again fulfills his role has the comic relief character. More videos with real gameplay later this week-end if the French postal service does its work correctly. Needless to day there is a big chance they won't...

Indeed for the amount of advertisment he has been giving he should not only get a free 360 but also alot of games for free. But thanks to the 3 year waranty hell get a new one :). Just he deserves those games :).

Well if u really had informed yourself bef4 talking crap you would know that the 360 problems on reliability arent based on the use of "cheap parts".

Anyway, u could use other threads instead of this one to talk about the 3rlod.

The voice acting is pretty bad compared to games like mass effect, half life 2 and bioshock, but it's pretty good for a japanese game since japanese games tend to be dubbed into english by the same people who do the voice overs for hentai porn :)

Not that i know anything about hentai porn..... ;)

Anyways, you can switch the voices over to Japanese so stop whining, (just kidding) but the J-dub is lots'a better.

And lots of you should take note, that sometimes they tend to sound a bit quick or slow when talking. But that's because the game is made on the Japanese voices, so the English lines should have to fit into the short and quick Japanese dialogues.

Im not saying it's bad that blue haired girls voice is good, but the main characters voice is just the generic "gloomy man of few words" bs you seen in most rpg dubs, and that "whacky laides man" guys voice is cringe worthy.

But i think the actual dialogue is pretty well written and kind of funny so i don't have any complaints there.

The voices in lost odyssey have been really uneaven so far.
Mass effect has consistently good voices throughout the entire game(with some horrible exeptions).
The voice acting really shines if you play as a female renegade, Jennifer Hale is the best evil space bitch ever :)

But anyway i find it hard to really get into the video not knowing the story or the characters that well, this is really one of the first videos i have watched of it, and only because i dont like games spoilt, but at first glance, the guy doing all the talking comes across as a annoyinng little git he needs his balls kicking in, and the woman just rambles on about crap
Also i dont like the little "24" boxes that come up with no finnese there just THERE then gone just as fast hardly giving you time to focus on them, to be honest i would prefer a well placed camera angle showing bothere faces at the scene instead "LOOK AT ME" boxes comming up

When playing the game from the start i am sure it will all make sence and with proper character development they will grow on me, and i will understand why he is a dick and she is annoying.

yeah in a bad mood today if you can tell ... to much work so little time

I think you got it mixed, unless I misunderstood what you were saying. The game was synced to English, not Japanese. Go watch some of the Japanese videos, the voices and lips are all out of sync because of that decision.

Thank god they're including both languages in this one because the english dub sucks (big surprise). Otherwise the story and characters look pretty interesting based on the scenes I've seen so far. I just wish the characters weren't so hideous. Watching this after the FF13 trailer was brutal.
