The women's titties are kind of misplaced to me. A little too saggy ^^

Remember LP is aimed for "westerners." Famitsu score is no surprise.

The woman with the corn-rolls in her hair looks like Storm. I wonder if the artist create beautiful women from real life models.

I personally wouldn't base how a game is from Famitsu scores and instead, wait for a realistic reviewer to show their views on it because giving DOAX2 a higher score isn't something Gamespot would do thats for sure.

but Gamespot also reviews for a western audience. an audience that generally doesn't appreciate dating sims (which is at their heart what Xtreme 1 and 2 were. hell, just look at what the achievements for Xtreme 2 actually were).
Famitsu doesn't review for some universal global audience. Famitsu reviews for their native japanese audience. its as "realistic" as any western reviewer but they're reviewing for a different audience with different tastes and standards. just because you don't share those tastes don't make them any less real. and frankly Famitsu's not reviewing for your tastes in the first place.

They have to have a pale-faced crazy clown with a freakish smile in every game dont they.

This game looks nice, but i was bored by the SP demo a few months back.

Well Noxian got me there, but still, people shouldnt use famitsu scores to decide if a western game will be good or not compared to a japanese dating sim. But i'm not going to argue, he is totally correct.

Is there any other notable/respected Japanese media who's review scores have any kind of importance then? I always see Famitsu scores but never anybody else.

Oh man i cant wait for this game , the online play totally kicks ass man i love it..I dont care for them and their sucky ass rating , i know im still getting it when it comes out next month....

I don't pay attention to the Japanese most of the time anyways... most things they like I know I'll hate, or find horribly creepy.

I hate this game,sp was allright,but i never got into it.
Yes the control works,the graphic is superb.and still i felt nothing :S

Good showcase for sonyfanboys though,who all said it looks fantastic and next-gen when visiting my house.

The multiplayer?
I just tried the demo,and the sp,Mp clearly tells you its under dev,but the mp was slow,and boring.

Technially it looks fantastic,but its so damn boring,and i had so high hopes for it.

The battles online felt dumb and slow,and the aim is very very slow in MP.

Regardless in any respect DOAX2 should not have gotten a higher score than LP. Just shows you what kind of publication Fatmitsu is. NO, LP is not aimed for western audiences only, it's aimed for a worldwide audience. So dont bring up stupid excuses.

First you can change the speed, of course you would have never thought of that, we forgive you. Second on the single player they do not give you a back drop on the story so you dont know what you're doing and what the point is of doing it.

The combat is slow and boring online.
The hooking device make people just run away whenever they are losing also.
This game doesnt even deserve 30/40... ofc just my opinion.

Whatever the story is in SP,the sp demo was repetive and boring after awhile and the enviorment was depressing and boring.

I would like to see other publications aswell.

I fully agree,look at Jolli he bought sonic and PUS for 360 and think Gears of war is Ugly and bad,you like his game taste?

Well everybody have differens taste when it came to game, other like Lost Planet and other dont. Some like Halo series, and some dont. Thats it :)

Maybe the Japanese enjoy this type of game. there are plenty of games released over there that publishers would dare try to ship in europe or the US...
