Mafia 2 plays with boys

Mafia 2 plays with boys

The very famous charm magazine will be a guest star in the upcoming Mafia 2 and, though it is no big news, it is still a good way to talk about the game now we know we are going to have to be very patient for its release.

Cant wait for it, its a shame they delayed the game.

Happy they delayed it for more extra-polish, it's never a bad thing. This is a fantastic game if it's close to part one ... which I guess it will surpass easily ;)

Why the ugly grain filter?
Commented on 2010-03-10 13:38:45
looks like they've put that "film grain" filter over it... hopefully it's an optional thing as it's not doing anything to benefit those screens at all. The only time i've taken to a grain filter was with Mass effect 2 (hated it in the first).

Really hope this lives up to Mafia 1... though i could do without the tedious racing car missions

It'd be awesome to check out the old Playboys, and read the articles...

Grain filter = last, desperate attempts to hide a struggling framerate that can't be improved before gold.

Looks very nice.. To bad it's delayed.. Simular games like Red Dead Redemption will keep me busy until then..

http://www.gamestar.de/index.cfm?pid=1589&pk=13587 video footage of those screens if anybody cares to see it in motion - looks great

Thanks, looking very nice indeed, assume that's the PC version? Looks far too sharp to be console.

Only 15 hours long :(
Commented on 2010-03-11 02:58:10
15hours is good going for single player..besides which it's open world, the lifespans limitless if you desire so.

Also, they've yet to denie there's multiplayer attached to it

Well multiplayer never holds any interest for me, and 15 hours I can do in a couple of sittings, hopefully they just mean 15 hours for the main story but there's tons of side quests and stuff a la GTA4 and the like :)
