My thoughts exactly. About EVERY cps2-emulator out there puts these atrocious ports from Capcom to shame. At least put some nice upscale filters in goddammit !

This is soooo badly emulated lol. The original itself looks better xD WTF is up with the blurred out dark edges and not even taking the time to redraw the character profile shots? xD LAAAAZZZZYYYY

Capcom - when we're not imitating other franchises or selling you unlock keys, we're porting our games from back when we were somewhat decent!

It looks like they just sent their games through the paint daubs filter in photoshop
Commented on 2012-07-06 07:30:34
Oh my god those filters are horrific.

It's not only Capcom. This 0-effort-cash-in mentality is widespread among other companies as well... Ever played a Sega Genesis port or a NeoGeo title ? They look the same ! Tbh seeing this makes me want to jtag my 360 and install some decent homebrew emulators because it really looks like shit !

alimokrane The Last game I will be getting this year is FF15 but that wont be at launch. (1 Hour ago)
  • alimokrane
alimokrane @KORNdog: I am talking generally. I hardly buy games at launch these. Bought 2 games at launch this year. ReCore and Gears 4. Last year, it was Rise of TR. that's about it. (1 Hour ago)
  • KORNdog
KORNdog and you can forgive an awful lot when you're spending so little on something. assuming the issues haven't already been ironed out (case in point, homefront) (1 Hour ago)
  • Melmoth
Melmoth i've got a "playlist" of 2-3 games i'm gonna play, so when something new comes out it will have to wait either way. (1 Hour ago)
  • KORNdog
KORNdog @Melmoth: exactly. i rarely buy games day one these days. and it's probably why i care so little about reviews. by the time i'm buying a lot of these games they're £15. (1 Hour ago)
  • Melmoth
Melmoth ofc with online games that might not be optimal, as you wanna join in on the fun as soon as possible, and hopefully before everyone moves on to another game. (1 Hour ago)
  • Melmoth
Melmoth so if you wait a month, or half a year, you get the game cheap, and hopefully without too many bugs. win/win (1 Hour ago)
