Bioware purposely "gave her sex appeal" now and let her hair down for her return. That's pretty sleazy.

Mass Effect 3 is a bigger tease than a fully clothed prostitute, this is like the second trailer that anounces another trailer to come. I just hope that ME3 comes out before we are teased out.
Anyway, I'd love a ME film to be done like that. That CGI is more than adequate. A film is a cert to happen, the problem being is that some twat like Michael Bay will get a hold of it and destroy it.
It annoys me that we still dont have a full on CGI movie like this.
Anyways, can't wait to finish the story.
Looks awesome, and fantastic music choice (Black Blade - Two Steps from Hell).

It would tank in the box office because it's not Pixar or Dreamworks or any other popular animation companies. Square Enix set up an animation company, Square Pictures, for Final Fantasy Spirits Within. It bombed horribly, and so Square Pictures was shut down. Huge loss, no profit, why take the risk?
You guys are silly.
People asking for a full CGI movie clearly are ignorant to how it all works. A feature-length movie with that level of CGI quality would easily be upwards of $100 million and would take 2-3 years to make.

Mass effect will forever be a sub par third person shooter since the reality of the situation is that shallow shooters sell better then RPGs. Doesnt mean *I* dont want it to return to being an RPG.
I'd love feature length movie like this. What do i care if it would be financial suicide?
What does the reality of the situation have to do with a persons personal desires?

You don't care about financial suicide? Say goodbye to your favorite companies, then, I'm sure they don't care either or their shareholders.
Because people keep on asking for it in every single CGI game trailer thread on every website ever. I'm sure Digic and Blur Studios are humbled when their trailers are so loved, but let's get some REAL TALK up in here.

So i repeat, i'd love a feature length movie like this. i really dont give a shit about the reality of the situation, and neither should anyone, it has absolutely no relation to what people crave.
Final Fantasy Advent Children, Tekken CGI....amazingly well done, how much money was involved is obvious. But guess what? they do it for the fanbase. Companies like EA and Bioware has tons of money as it is, so instead having them pay up for Dragon Age anime they should do something similair.
Especially with The Old Republic because it has Star Wars slapped on it, it cant fail if the CGI trailers are any indication.
I'm not a sharholder, so i dont care. As long as i get the consumer product *I* want, i really dont care about anything else. Why would i?

Sure you can crave it all you like but what digi_matrix is saying is that the reality of the situation is that unless the costs of producing CGI of that standard decrease significantly, a CGi I movie of ME or any other game you love will never happen! Yea and *IF* Bioware or whatever company who's games are beloved (if any for you LAWL) went out of business today, Most Gamers would care big time!
Digi is trying to make out that the financial risks has some baring on what people alowed to want for. Which it doesnt. I want a psychonauts sequel. I want a grim fandango sequel, i want a strangers wrath sequel, i want a BG&E sequel. They're all financial risks for the developers and publishers involved...doesnt change the fact that i want them and believe they should be made. EA blow more then the costs required to make a movie like this on marketing for a SINGLE game. I dont see how or why it is unrealistic to want them to make a movie like this? It isnt like they're some poor, small-time publishing house, it's EA for christ sake.

Lucas wouldn't mind a product that gets people to buy more of his toys either.
It doesn't have to be released in the theater. It could just as easily be a web series or released on an online marketplace bits at a time.
Final Fantasy was released a long time ago and things have changed a lot since then obviously.
Star Wars is also much more marketable than Final Fantasy. Not sure I can say the same about Mass Effect however. Sci fi is needing a resurgence.
I'd say one of the biggest issues now though, is the fact EA owns Bioware and decides what they're doing for the most part (I assume).
No matter how big the name of Mass Effect is, I didn't like the PC demo at all. Plays more like a TPS than an RPG, and it's a bad TPS. Animations are just bad. Graphics are less impressive than Mass Effect 2 (PC-version) (although Bioware claims there will be higher resoltion textures in the final game). It seems a rushed game and I have no idea why there is multiplayer. Seems like a waste of development time that they should have put in the SP. I know it's a demo, but it has put me off. Shame.
Also people here on Gamersyde mentioning that they've ruined the feeling that your games from 1 and 2 had any impact on this is just a big fail.
Love it! cant wait for the full version, Mass Effect has been the best thing this gen for me, now its time finish the fight! :)
Cant wait till release.
Doesnt have anthing to do with it.
