What the fuck did you expect? Shepard in a penguin suit? The Ferrari Mako f430? Triple breasted liara? Fruit shaped weapons?

The batarians are new, and im sure it will have new armors and weapons too.

Big meh from me, I see nothing in the screens to justify picking this game up again. 400 pts for 1,5 hours (which, when translated from 'developer-language' to 'actual play-time language', most likely comes down to 30-40 mins) is just not done. Especially if it offers nothing all that exciting to begin with.

No thanks.

I WOULD buy this if I could play it with my finished game. But start the story again just to spend 45 minutes killing Batarians?

Thanks, but no.

Seems like a great update to me, what's with the whining? 400p is relatively cheap.

I dont know.. for an epic game like Mass Effect this DLC looks kinda tiny

Only 90 minutes..
why not make something a bit bigger say Oblivion style
Still its nice to see they are working on something and maybe even towards something bigger.

One question remains how is this DLC gonna work out.. only at new save files or on all save files.. or what?

Because when it comes to downloadable content a lot of gamers turn into whiny bitches, some people will just complain no matter what, it could cost 1 point and they would still bitch and moan about it.

Most of the oblivion DLC is really short the only big one is shivering isles and that costs 2400 points, i doubt there will be any big DLC's for mass effect since the sequel is not too far away.

And i read that the dlc will be accessible from the galaxy map as soon as you download it, so it should work with saved games/characters.

You have to have a save file that lets you acess the Normandy.

And yea its tiny DLC but it is just the first of "supposedly" many.
Its better then horse armour.

Its just a new mission. Its effectively adding a new encounter. Its the same as any other side mission, though probably a bit longer and with a bit more effort put into it.

As for the time, they probably are exaggerating a bit, but if you play on the hardest/2nd hardest difficulty I assume it will take about that long.

I have to ask myself, why would Bioware make DLC instead of the sequel?

They're not making DLC instead of a sequel, they're making DLC as well as a sequel.

This sort of reminds me of what Fable: TLC was: a few more hours (not even apparently) of gameplay for a semi-high price (for what you're getting at least). For such an underwhelming game I really don't understand all the buzz Less Effect is still getting.

Well if you took the time to actually read up on the DLC you would of known that there is a new race of aliens in the DLC, but you wouldnt becuase you would rather complain
