Medal of Honor: Airborne images

EA just released these 15 images of Medal of Honor: Airborne, where some of them have been seen in various magazines. They are from the Xbox 360 version, and it's hard to be impressive with them as it is now.

it does indeed, and we know that since its UE3, there will not be these jaggies in the final game, so just picture it without them!

i just had to say that as it is inevitable that people will complain..

Well the game could first of all use some anti aliasing.
But this is of cousre not the final build so whij dos it actuly matter?

I thought that the UR3 engine could not use AA on 360 ? or is that just gears ??

Wrong. UE3 has no MSAA support so there will be jaggies as they are in Rainbow6 and Gears of War or in these pictures.

is there a reason why Unreal 3 doesn't support it? Seems like a dumb thing to not support.

I didn't really notice that Vegas didn't have AA since it has some nice motion blur effects and when you play it it's hard to notice... but then again I'm not a pixel freak either.

i think those look pretty good. unfortunately its a world war game #1230912380 and its hard to get excited about it

I don't get it. I can hardly see any aliasing in gears latest videos ! Guess there's a way to implement AA with UE3. Obviously, let's hope Ubi finds it before R6 gets gold !
Seriously, there's no comparison between R6 jaggies and Gears' alleged ones (maybe on electric wires)

No I am not kidding, if you watch the actual BIA3 footage, it wasn't looking good, terrible character models, facial models, bland textures.. the best part of bia3 so far is the colors, and thats about it

He is not completely wrong.
UE3 uses some advanced "soften edges" technique instead of MSAA. The final visual result is something between 2xAA and 4xAA. With this way it saves all the memory bandwidth for more SFX in the game and at the same time it gives you the same AA effect like almost every other game for xbox360 and PS3.
Of cousrse all that is in theory. In practise i will see as soon as i play GoW :)

It's pretty obvious I'm talking about the demo. And I DO intend to play the final game as soon as it's released cause the gameplay rocks.
But to me, that demo was a HUGE disappointment in terms of graphics and framerate. I did really appreciate the v synch though.

C'me on, you'd have a nice time with the demo if it's the gameplay you like in R6 !
The problem is I usually trust Ubi, but SCDA framerate and v synch did suck, so no i kind of worry for R6. Seems it's not THAT easy to use UE3 (SCDA has a different engine, I know)

Well, another EA BS. Perhaps they are scaling graphics back to accommodate ps3 needs. Arguably, the 2. wave of next gen for 360 from EA looks worse than its 1. wave. I wonder why.
