All I have to say is WOW! So glad this coming to PS3 since I had to miss out on the original. Had no idea the game was shaping up this nicely! Sound, graphics, atmosphere, physics, interaction.....it's got it all.

This baby just shot up my list of games to watch. Did the original play like this?

Let me pick my jaw off the floor. Dat Lighting. Those modified weapons. Those reloading sounds!

And that boss fight at the end, looks like a more intense version of the Librarian.

Wow... you've got to be kidding me. This game looks phenomenal. This has to be the PC version. Does anyone know what version this demo is from? This just destroys Halo Reach and both Killzone games in the visual department, and pretty much every other game.

It has to be PC version with tessellation and hardware accelerated physx.

I just completed the Metro 2033 and that was amazing game. Really nice atmosphere. Artyom is also badass name.

Even though I already spotted some lowres textures and poor enemy ai (not reacting on lights suddenly go off? Absolutely deaf to their comrades dying? Come on real person woulda heard something...), but still this is what Crysis-2 shoulda been like. Shame on you, Crytek.

Everything can't be perfect, but let's hope they improve those aspects...they still have plenty of time to do so.

The character turns as if it's being played on a control pad, not a mouse. The character animations are some of the best I've seen. Excellent little touches like the scene where the player chases his colleague through the streets and the NPC animation changes as he runs up the stairs......amazing.

My heart sank when I saw the big beast fight at the end...

Why can't shooters keep things simple. A slow paced rewarding shooter is really missing from the genre now.

Graphics where never a worry. It's the gameplay that needs a massive improvement, but i'm not really seeing it here. I cant see this being much better then the first really. But it looks nice.

Exactly but at least they have to try and its very interesting how games like GoldenEye 007 N64, Halo series and Killzone 2 and 3 hold up so great in that department.

What I don't understand sometimes is what is that PC game developers set as a minimum requirement and do or did they really benefit from using a dual core or quad core designed 3d engine that should in theory at least have one core or half of one dedicated to AI routines. (note that despite the hardware limitations only Killzone 2/3 was not made on a single core CPU system)
I just would prefer though that these PC game devs put their money in their mouth when it comes to developing and instead of being interviewed complaining about hardware limitations just make the PC version have a minimum of dual core CPU and Dx10 GPU for requirements and ACTUALLY use it.
I will check out this video to see how impressive it is, though I suspect if console hardware makers don't mess up and wait for 2014, then we would not have to worry about what games will be limited to because the limits will be so high if they wait.
