I love girls but playing a volly ball game is not my thing, i only do that when i go on holidays near the beach.

Oh my gosh, the game looks more gorgeous than when we saw it at TGS. IS it just my imagination? Animations seem more fluent/coherent, ALSO looks like they added the new volleyball mechanics with the direction to set, and the new quick pass (looks like you can sometimes get your character to run in for a quick spike as opposed to a slower one)! Color me excited! Blim, tell me it isn't my imagination.

Shadows are still not implemented well (palm tree and girls), but in.game is getting better and more fluid.

Um, what video were you watching? Both the girls and the trees all have shadows implemented in real time including self-shadowing.

Its not only volleyball you know. Theres jet-skiing, jug-o-war, flag grabbing, racing over floating islands to the other side of the pool, and lots of other activites. inlcuding collecting bikinis!

The tree's shadows don't affect the girls. And yes, it totally sucks.

The environmental shadows aren't dynamic, but I'm hoping Itagaki adds this feature into NG2 since he's seen MGS4 and has played Gears of War.

The volleyball looks faster and more intense than the original, that's for sure.

But hey, you could've added some music yourself if the crowd was too loud. And where's butt battle? Aw whatever, just keep these vids coming!

Ah, I just noticed myself. The tree doesnt cast a shadow on the girls.

Damn that tree shadowing is guna bug me now .. :(

I'm not even sure that tree shadow is a real one, looks more like part of the sand texture.

they added roling shadows from the clouds...you can tell when you look at the sand

Can you get footage of the waverace activity, and I'm also wondering if the water slide lets you actually "steer" or if its just more gravure ZZz

That tree is just a texture of the sand currently is what it looks like. The characters cast their own shadows on it =P

Wow. That was a waste of time.

Considering the game doesn't have much going for it, the animations could have been much better. A sense of weight with the characters would go a long way as well. Their running to get into position looks pretty atrocious.

Is there anyone here who could play the tug-of-war for more than 5 minutes and not want to shoot themselves in the face? I'm pretty sure the full title of this game is Dead or Alive Xtreme 2: Buyer's Remorse.

Take a hammer to your 360 if you plan on buying this game. That will ensure that a) you don't have to suffer through playing it, and b) people on Live will have the piece of mind knowing that they aren't playing with or talking to someone who would buy this game.

I wouldn't even be so bitter towards this game if it was being made by some 2nd rate developer. I could then excuse the bargain bin quality of it. Also, it's just plain annoying that Team Ninja is working on this in lieu of Ninja Gaiden 2. Blasphemy I say!
