Wow - it really does look awesome!

I love the colour tone they have used, very cold winter morning feeling... tres atmospheric!

Thanks for sharing :)

Indeed, i like the color palette as well. Ive heard people complain there isnt enough color, but I like the art direction, its very bleak, just like the world in Resistance.

Essentially it looks exactly like what youd expect to see in a world which has been ravaged and beaten to near oblivion by constant war. I really like it, it is'nt very colorful, granted. But i think it suits the theme and setting.

Those people are just looking for things to complain about... the monochromatic color scheme is actually very appropriate (think Saving Private Ryan or Black Hawk Down). It's like complaining that David Fincher's movies are too dark... they're that way on purpose.

Only a moron would complain David Fincher's movies are too dark and i agree, the colour scheme is appropriate for the game. Great use of the David Fincher comparison

you just summed it up perfectly to anyone who would complain about the colour scheme.

IGN is saying that PS3 will have a killer app on day one, and this game will be Resistance! nice!

"Owners of some gaming systems have to wait years before they get a true "killer app," but PlayStation 3 users get theirs on day one. Insomniac's Resistance: Fall of Man is far and away the most impressive title on the console " IGN.

What's up?
  • Doom_Bringer
Doom_Bringer oh yea that, Dragon Age was preloading at the time (4 Hours ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX Maybe.. it's different for pre-loaded stuff too. (5 Hours ago)
  • Doom_Bringer
Doom_Bringer @GriftGFX: well Dragon age extracted is suppose to be arround 20 gigs but the download was only 8 gigs or 15 gigs...procedure might be different for newer games (5 Hours ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX 45 minutes for this game would have to be like... 3+ megabytes per second. My Comcast can't do that. (5 Hours ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX My FFOW DL is almost 12.9 gigs and like 95% done. (5 Hours ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX Steam appears to download extracted and installed, there's no install process once you finish downloading a game. (5 Hours ago)
  • Doom_Bringer
Doom_Bringer D2D file right now is 9.2 GB's. I think it was less when I was downloading it (now its extracted) I am pretty sure Steam works the same way. 12 gb is probably the extracted size :P (5 Hours ago)
