Konami has released a video showing off gameplay footage of MGS: Peace Walker HD. The title will be included in the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection (with MGS 2 & MGS 3) and will release in November 2011 for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
Looks just as boring as I remember it... PW is too clunky to be a fun shooter and too simple to be a fun sneaking game. I wish they'd focus more on Rising instead of TWO different MGS3 remakes!

I'd rather they completely scrapped the remakes, that neverdead thing and that spin-off action game Rising and got to work on... I don't know, either a true MGS prequel or a ZoE game.

To each his own but I felt the same way till I played MGS2 and started to understand the change of pacing. I feel like the story has often been overrated and intrusive though, MGS3 was the best at just letting you play.

You are not the only one. I never understood the hype of MGS. This isn't going to make me popular, but I think MGS: Guns of the Patriots is one of the most over-hyped games this generation.
Nope, MGS4 delivered in every way and was the perfect ending to one of the if not the best stories in gaming. You guys are few and far between in your opinions. Game sold great and was amazingly well reviewed.

its the best Metal Gear game by far, I am playing it right now...sure the controls are not the best in the PSP version but that will be rectified with this HD ver. Its a really good game! I am loving it so far

and that is precisely who these "remakes" are aimed at. it's for those who never had a chance to play them originally, or those who are big enough fans to want to play them again with trophies and in "HD" (3D) and on a single disc (think of it like a discography collection for a musical artist). everyone else need not apply, it isnt like they're forcing people to buy them...haha
i'm a huge fan of MGS, but i wont be buying this. i have the better versions on PS2 anyway (substance, subsistence) and i have peace walker on the PSP where it belongs. but it's a great deal for those who never dabbled in the first place. or never had the chance to at all (like the weirdo's who never owned a PS2...lol)
