Well, aside from I really dislike the artwork here. Because the original LoS artwork is godlike.

Just keep in mind this is more traditional Casltevania...it's side scrolling.

This. Mirror of Fate is more like a side scrolling version of God of War, with lack of polish and poor level design.
btw if anyone didn't have Lords of Shadow, next month is out Lords of Shadow Collection and includes the main game, two dlc's, Lords of Shadow - Mirror of Fate and the demo of LoS 2.

I do love the LoS2 demo; the way he switches effortlessly between the Void sword, Chaos claws and chain whip is fantastic and seamless and HOLY ME he can block and do that counter thing in the air - he truly is Dracula, definitely the character I wanted in the LoS DLC that never actually arrived.
Art style is fantastic as always. I only have two problems with the demo:
1. Why does Dracula, y'know, the Prince of Darkness wait politely for the enemy to stand up incapacitated before drinking them dry? It breaks the flow of combat somewhat.
2. Platforming, while quicker is sometimes retarded.
As for MoF? It is ok, serviceable even as a side-scrolling game so far. Maybe when I unlock more moves I'll enjoy it more.
I hate playing as Simon Belmont, the brotherhood garments of Gabriel have grown on me.
I hate the fact in LoS2 the alternate weapons are based on limitations, pisses me off. On laptop when i will play it i will have to find a way to mod it so the energy doesnt drain out sinc ei hate being limited to one weapon...and when we do get others we cant use them at will once we get them which is stupid as well.
I also wished they would have increased the super slow QTE grab/attack but i see its the same slow ass crap that seems to take forever to do something like in LoS.

In the demo, the weapons recharge as soon as you stop using them, and the primary function of them is different, you can't always use the Void Sword or Chain whip because the Chaos claws break shields, which isn't too bad, although I understand how it would be a problem if you wanted to just use the Void sword as it is your favourite weapon.

I read the reason why they recharge so fast was because it was a demo, Brain Cox said its much slower in the full game, basically a replacement of light and dark powers in the game.
I sold my consoles since i had no more use of them and wanted money for other stuff and i am ready for next gen. My laptop can play any game with no problem anyways so I am not at loss ;)
