See that second shot (the one used as the header for this article)? The guy on the left shooting at the guy and hitting the barrel. That sums up this game in a nutshell. Aim directly at the person, pull the trigger, miss by a mile.

am i the only one who is missing a good wwII shooter? I miss the old type weapons from cod 5....

I actually really really dig the beta and i'm seriously planning on buying it. And that comes from someone who was very tired of military shooters.

best thing about this having played the beta are the sound effects and the ability to spawn on a partner...other than that it, like the previous, doesnt touch the quality of the cod games for me.

I have my eye on the reviews for this game.Although it will probably end up being a rental,especially after seeing the beta in action.

I feel the mp could have been great, but it's stupid stuff, like how enemy players are highlighted, which kind of ruin it. No because it makes it easy, but because it's annoying & ruins the fun of it.

The only enemy that is highlighted is the guy that killed your buddy if your close by to him. No one else...and if your buddy does not get killed not a single enemy is highlighted.

Actually, I was looking at the shots, and there are either some really weird graphical artifacts or some pretty blatant and shitty photoshop touchups.

Creatively bankrupt, mediocre and just plain fucking deadly dull.

But hey, I am sure people will be all over it like white on rice...

I'm getting a better understanding just how impressive Halo4 looks. I'm not debunking visuals or anything. I've just being playing these realistic shooters for so long that I lost faith in my original favorite franchise. I mostly blame that on Bungie though. I bought almost all of the Halo titles except for ODST and Halo Wars. Bungie was getting beat at their own game while Microsoft gave them limitless amounts of funding that most devs don't even get but still manage to make better games. We praised them too much for too little and they felt that they could do no wrong. There egos got the best of them and now most of the community has written them off as the original makers of Halo. It almost seems as if 343 Studios has always had the IP. Yes, fantasy shooting is back and we all have more than one theme again. Sorry to be off the topic, but I just get tired of all these Gulf War looking games only because they all are starting to look alike in some way or another.
