EA released these 4 images of Battlefield 2: Modern Combat on Xbox 360. I think these look better than the first images we saw a few months ago, I hope Dice won't (ever) disappoint !
I really wanted bf2 for the pc, but never got around to buying i'll definetly be getting bf2 and I figure after seeing fight night ea has got a firm handle on developing for the 360... get ready for nba live 2007 to be one of the best basketball games ever made... Still they'll have alot of competition from 2k7, but time will tell.
I hope the gameplay is more on the PC style of play. I didn't like the red markers over the enemies heads. The fact that you can't select your weapons for that kit you have to use what they give you. And the fact that you can't do that dash move that the PC players had.
Not quite Killzone E3 quality so it's not next gen enough. LOL. That's the trend i've been reading lately on blogs and forums. Looks aight I guess. Hmm BatteField or Ghost Recon: Advance Warfigher? BF is in first person and GR is in third person? Maybe I just skip both of these and go with The Outfit.

Excellent! Vegetation looking good, nice metallic sheen on that tank, sufficient geometric detail... way to go. Particle effects must be evaluated in motion but so far this looks very promising.

You have no idea how badly i feel the same way. When all the fanboys finally realise (again) that sony havent delivered on thier promises (again) and that all this "Xbox 360 is not next gen" talk will officially be squashed. The 360's games will probably look better than the PS3 games due to 2nd gen games being released on the 360 console while Sony will be on its 1st. In the end Sony will probably pwn this gen again, but the 360 should give them a bit of a kick up the arse. :)
ohh looks great :) . like other people i am a big PC BF2 player and the current xbox version puts BF to shame. i know many people like it but compared to the PC it's just bad. as for this game however the gfx are great and i just hope DICE decided to add all the good parts of BF2. but for this game to be really good it needs to be at least 32 player which might be a struggle over live, especially with EA servers :( .
Wow these screens look brilliant! I didn't realise how much time they would be spending with the 360 version, I half expected a quick port and half assed graphics, but I am glad I am wrong.
Lets hope they nail the gameplay, and then I would probably end up buying this over GR:AW (mainly because I'm not so happy with the direction GR:AW has taken since Island Thunder).
Wow, that looks fantastic. I also play the PC BF2(with most settings on high) and these screens look so much better its unreal. Talk about an upgrade from the XBOX/PS2.
