Microsoft just sent us these new images of Kinect Sports Rivals, along with a brand new vidoc in a delightful 720p resolution...

The video is 720p but the native resolution is 1080p, why?

Say what you will about the XB1 and hate on the new Kinect but this right here is what innovation looks like. Even if you don't like motion gaming this facial 3d scanning is the next big thing in games. Think of how many Core games can use this feature for create a characters such as sports games or even games like Skyrim. That being said Kinect Sports Rivals looks like it will be fantastic and if the demo is any indication , sign me up.

you mean like how they've been doing it most of last gen? and with better, more accurate results at that. i saw jimmy fallon play this on stage and even a guy with lizard-like features such as himself turned out looking unrecognisable.

Could've sworn that Fallon bit was months ago and they delayed the game to enhance the accuracy of the feature. Also if you are comparing last gen's 256x256 2d granny picture scanning. To this gen 3d model facial scanning than you are more of a fool that I originally thought.

this isn't 3D scanning. if it was it would actually create accurate digital aproximations of a person. but seeing as it doesn't do that. it's really no better then that "2d granny picture scanning" (what's grandma got to do with anything i don't know) if anything it's worse because the results are worse. but by all means, be excited about this "revolutionary" feature we've had for years.

Kinect sporst rivals? Seriously? Where is Order 1886 gameplay, Infamous second son? This site used to be soo good for all new gameplay vids in best quality, and now this.. for over 3 months there is nothing good to download. No PS4 stuff

I cant take this MS Kinect Promotion anymore. Underlay this Vidoc with absolut frantic and disgusting Techno Music to make the watcher get all nervous and excited. And then finish it of with Some words flying in and a loud thumping sound as the words hit to make a big impact. Hype Hype Hype. God damit what the hell are you promoting here? Its not like its a new Halo god damnit :-D Rofl
But the Graphics are indeed very beautiful. Just imagine a perfect executet Banjo and Kazooey with this Engine :-D

I dunno. This might end up being fun and all, but all I kept thinking about watching that video was "so this is what Rare are doing these days", and that's not a good thing. It's fucking sad. They should be showcasing and talking about a brand new and exciting IP or something that would knock your socks off like they once used to do, but, yeah...avatars. Rare are all about those these days for fuck knows what reason.

Maybe because nobody is sending the guys at Gamersyde anything good? Take Evolution Studios for example. They were happy to send Gamersyde those massive 1gb videos back in October 2013 before the game's delay. But since that we have seen nothing and they haven't sent anything to Gamersyde either.

gs always gives me the best gameplay vids, imo it's one of the two sites that have the best video quality. The other is ruliweb, it's a korean site.

There are current and past generations videos of almost everything that came out, plus the new HD Stream system you guys have is the best, by far much more superior than anything I have seen, no hyperbole, seriously the truth.

I have no idea how pathetic, tragic and very insignificant someone's life must be to try and find reasons to attack other people's works, specially when they are the best in the whole fricking internet and all for free.

We all have the freedom to do what we want, even reinvent ourselves, so when I see people like that, which believes their time is better spent trying to drag people down to their level of misery than to try to drag themselves up to other people's level of happiness... it's truly sad.

Please, keep doing what you guys are the best at and don't mind people like that, sooner or later they always tire themselves and go away, time is the best teacher and it isn't kind, specially with that type of people.
