GSY Video PC PS4 Xbox One

Here is a second (and last) batch of Project CARS videos to end this week end frenzy on Gamersyde. We've tried to change a few settings to get a cleaner image so it might look a tad better than yesterday. Inside, you'll get to see more tracks, more racing conditions and more cars. Let us remind you, if need be, that this is not the final build of the game, which will only be released in March on PC and next gen consoles.
Note: The gallery of the "Car List" video includes most vehicles.

This game is an inconsistent moving glitch, so much potential to be great, or flop HARD! The way cars move sometimes tells me physics are inconsistent at best, and let's not mention graphics. Some of those scenes in in the replays look simply amazing (night racing replay in laguna seca) and then for contrast you have cockpit cam where the windshield (does not get a single drop of water (is there even a windshield there?), yet the side windows are full of water :|

The crashes (physics) are absolutely horrible, like coming from a different game.
It instantly pulls you out of the experience, I didn't expect that level of bad. The epic trailers and driving alone look very good, but .. DAMN.

I cant talk for consoles, but for PC's this looks..... about 100x better than driveclub during gameplay.

Driveclub dresses up bad aliasing etc with rain droplets, but when you are fully immersed in a driving game you dont think about that, you think about the driving.

Speaking of which, and again I can only say coming from a wheel on PC, the physics are consistent and fantastic. I really cannot understand where people are coming from in terms of bad graphics and physics?!

Ive hundreds of hours on this right from the word go, so feel free to ask q's.

First time we talked about it was in 2012. Compared to the GT series, we can say it'll have been released faster than light.

DriveClub - 30FPS (unacceptable for any modern racer).
DriveClub - Up to something like 12 to 16 cars on track..
DriveClub - Average of 260k polygons on each car.

Project CARS - 60FPS (or higher on PC).
Project CARS - Over 55+ cars on some tracks.
Project CARS - 300k polygons on each care on PC (60k on consoles lol).

The only thing pCARS needs is better rain effects.

Hahahaha the rain effects are the ONLY good thing about Driveclub. Everything else is terrible! Driveclub feels like driving trough a tunnel the whole time! Fences and little walls prevent you from sliding off! My worst buy this year!

Oh, don't get me wrong. I'm not complaining with you fella's putting the vids up. It just feels like it's been in Beta stages forever and the amount of vids, official or otherwise, of it are having a bit of a negative impact on it's eventual release. That's just me, though.

Love how this just went from a review of PCars shortcomings to a bashfest against Driveclub.

First of all, that's just tacky.

Second of all, if Driveclub looked so bad and played so terribly, nobody would be comparing PCars to it. If you're unwilling to acknowledge Driveclub's technical achievements, which are many despite what many of you haters say, then compare PC to a game that you actually consider GOOD.

And lastly, yes this game has much room for improvement. Don't rely on YouTube videos for clarity because, well, it's YouTube. The videos here are probably the closest we're going to get to seeing it run on our own computers. And seeing these videos, clearly they have some work to do (car models aside).

I think it feels this way as more and more games are becoming early access and therefore many of the games you kinda psychologically think are 'released' are still in progress :)

Just another perspective of videos taken specifically for the beauty of the game rather than during a race etc. Good job on the videos btw :)

Driveclub doesnt look bad nor play particularly bad, but its a completely different sort of game. Pcars is more towards Sim whereas Driveclub is purely arcade with a hint of simulation. What I think is that Driveclub could have been better/offered more had they spent time polishing it rather than releasing early (after a years delay) with an unfinished and broken product.

Id like to know what aspects of Project Cars people think need work on? The interface is great, the graphics are mind blowing on Ultra, the sound are fantastic and with the customisation options offered on pc (rendering, AI, force feedback, etc) it really does cater for that audience who want a great sim with career options and series' as per real life.

Why do non-sim game fans always come to these things and complain about the graphics and a host of other things they have no clue about. Stick to your 30fps arcade racers and STFU, it's like comparing the graphics of Skyrim/GTAV to Uncharted/Killzone when they aren't even technically comparable. Just like linear games look better than open world games, so do arcade racers look better than sim racers because of what is going on under the proverbial bonnet.

Never 16 cars on track in Driveclub...12 is highest.

The DC fanboys are such a nightmare they pollute every racing thread on every gaming site. While DC is decent it does not compare to games like PGR or The Horizon series. It also should not be ever mentioned in a Sim thread lol.

wow was there like 7 road legal cars. No interest on those track rockets that feel pretty much all the same. No physical damage... Guess I have to buy that xbox thing when forza 6 comes out later this year. There just isn't any real competition :(

edit: dear god these drive club ps4 fag kids are really everywhere. That doesn't even count as driving sim. Wish this place would have stayed xbox only.

Driveclubs rain/weather is better implemented, overall Project Cars will of course look better on PC.

But the biggest difference between DC and PC is the fact that one is simcade and the other full sim.

PS. just a bit sick of the same people constantly shitting on DC. You know who you are. You always comment on DC articles.
