Hmmm not looking as good as I remembered graphically but I was never overly interested anyhow simply due to it being another bag of ideas from previous games all thrown together really fast (so it seems). But now that driveclub is pushed back this will sadly be the only launch window racer fix : /
I don't remember the car models having so many jaggies either.
The art style is really well done though, something this series has been good at off and on.
Awesome. And recent news that PS4 version is looking better then the PC version...pretty sweet. Looks great though. Open world, day night cycle, weather, gameplay of hot pursuit, actually looks fun...best next gen racer.

So the forza series has a track record of the highest rated racing series because it is not fun to play huh? If you can't appreciate that genre fine but to act like its a bad game b/c of personal taste... I guess the CoD fans are right that it's better than BF games because it's more fun to play huh?

Lol, you really don't see the NFS franchise as a series of recycled ideas? Honestly? I mean the CoD comparison is obviously just a joke (can't really compare such different genres) but the overall idea is not that much of a stretch. I would say the 2k basketball games and madden are also in that camp, nearly the same game each year with very minor (if any) improvements. I love b ball and 2k games so I don't bitch but I'll be glad to admit it.

That's true. Anyone remember the earlier Fifa titles for current gen consoles? PC versions were ps2 ports...
Probably didn't want to spend the extra time or money porting the next gen versions to the PC I guess. Same thing for nba 2k14 and most sports games. I guess NFS fell under that umbrella.

I very much doubt it would require much effort to uncap the frame rate.
I don't think sports games are very popular on PC. I think NFS sells fairly well though. And honestly... this looks more like platform politics than anything else.
