Wow, now look at that!

What a graphical improvement over Over-G-Fighters! Nice & interesting landscapes, beautiful clouds and weather-effects, cool looking planes, impressive explosions,...!

And i hope the game still has cockpits, right?

best regards, ScarJack

why do they still hold back movie footage? it's obviously that the game is playable already...

I thought it was multiplatform between 360 and PS3. The big news was that it was coming to 360 in the first place, so I doubt it's exclusive to xbox. Then again, there's nothing on Playsyde.

I've heard that this is a timed exclusive. meaning that it will come to the ps3 after a period of time.
Not entirely sure though

Online should be awesome though.

Holy smoke! Nice clouds.

EDIT: But must see how they animate before issuing a final judgment.

This game is starting to impress me. It may be a purchase.

screens with HUD look worse than the ones with no HUD

Finally a game with good lighting that takes place in the sky. You would have thought this would have been obvious from the start with other games.

Its obvious that like all Ace Combat games, the footage will be even better looking than the screens!, love the screen with the dam, i bet you have to bomb that at some point.

lol, you have to be kidding, footage better than screens?

And I'll keep an eye out for this, but airplane combat games have been mediocre since...........hmn......since Combat Flight Sim perhaps. Oh and Crimson Skies was pretty good too, but I meant games with a more "realistic" approach.

nice, loved the AC games on the PS2. This will be a must buy for me I believe, or at least rent till I get some extra money

Looks super, I wonder how it's going to play since I haven't tried any of the previous ones.

About the game

What's up?
  • alimokrane
alimokrane FF15 had the best launch month of any final fantasy game in the US!!! and this performance does not include digital sales!!! (38 minutes ago)
  • Melmoth
Melmoth @Tiz: Most big games were larger than what a standard CD-ROM disc could store, so it wasn't unusual that pirated games were lacking audio tracks or movies. (1 Hour ago)
  • Melmoth
Melmoth @Tiz: Sega used a proprietary GD-ROM format (about 1GB discs) for storage. It did not stop piracy though as you with a bootdisc could start cd-r copies without the need to hard mod the console. (1 Hour ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX I think it was apparent to people.. even before the system launched.. that the early launch of the Dreamcast was risky. So I can see how EA might want to play hardball to sweeten the deal on said risk (4 Hours ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX They also sold 2K and exited the console business... so maybe it wasn't all the best course of action after all :D (4 Hours ago)
  • Tiz
Tiz That's what I meant lol. NFL, not NHL. (4 Hours ago)
  • Tinks
Tinks it's pretty shitty to deny a system because of Visual Concepts though. They hadn't even produced anything yet and EA was a giant even then (4 Hours ago)
