The slomo at 0:39 looks seriously awesome; suspension moving realistically, front wing bouncing like the real thing.
If they get the AI and racing behaviour right this time, this will be a winner for sure.

Yeah, but: No Manual Start, No real Damages, No SC, No Real Physics... and:

Q:AndyDYoung: Will F1 2011 feature the podium?

Steve Hood: We considered the podium but that’s been done to death in Formula One games so, for this year, we’ve included Parc Ferme which is more immediate and personal.

-----------------------------------------------------

Q:MattMarquard: Has the crash damage improved? And if it’s not in this game, proper deforming tyre barriers would be cool. Almost like in Grid.

Steve Hood: We’re balancing the damage so the cars are more fragile but as for an overhaul of the damage system, we’d like to, but feel there are bigger things to tackle first.

WHAT? THERE ARE BIGGER THINGS TO TACKLE THAN DAMAGE SYSTEM?

------------------------------------------------------------------

Q:Woodsy921: Have the mirrors been fixed, can you see anything behind you?

Steve Hood: The mirrors are so small I don’t think they will ever be amazingly helpful – we have new on-screen indicators to help you locate chasing drivers.

This is not a F1 game, This is Madness...

What's up?
  • docLEXfisti
docLEXfisti Snatcher was awesome, played it on the European Mega CD (1 Hour ago)
  • droezelke
droezelke @Moonwalker: I agree. Other than the Metal Gear series, he didn't really present something as good. And I thought MGS5 was ultra boring (2 Hours ago)
  • nostradamus
nostradamus never played snatcher, but policenauts has a awesome scenario. (3 Hours ago)
  • b0vril
b0vril I never liked MGS series, but I loved 5 (3 Hours ago)
  • Tiz
Tiz @Moonwalker: 2 is the best Metal Gear Solid though. (3 Hours ago)
  • Moonwalker
Moonwalker Personally i find Kojima rather overrated. Yes MGS and MGS3 were fantastic, 2 wasn't nearly as good, same for 4 and 5....nah. (4 Hours ago)
  • nostradamus
nostradamus @jmd749: Kojima Productions is independent. wrap that and give it away to your other half. (5 Hours ago)
