Looks like Godfather 1 but I geuss this one will get good gameplay. Looking forward for this game also because there are so few western ones. I really love this ganre.

THIS can try to destroy COJ but it will fail.

If this game comes anywhere close to the quality of GTA IV albeit with a western flavour then this will be a Day One purchase for me. One thing is certain, it'll outmatch Call of Juarez: BiB in the characters, cut-scenes, script and voice-acting department easily because Rockstar are maestro's in those departments.

In other words: interested! I wonder how the horses will handle, I hated the bike mechanics in GTA4 and for no real reason that's the material I'm comparing it too.

Also I hope there are plenty of wide, open and solitary vista's.

What's so hard to believe about that? The character's design captures the spirit of the Wild West perfectly... he even has a bit of a Clint Eastwood vibe about him. He's clearly a guy who's seen it all and has the scars to show for it - not to mention that he just looks cool.

Just because he isn't Master Chief or Kratos.

Afaik they neither announced nor excluded a PC version. Guess you have to wait and see but after GTA IV do you really want to play a Rockstar-Game on PC? - I heard GTA IV sucked donkey ass on PC due to bugs bad performance problems even on good machines.

Done been patched, and there's some cool mods for GTAIV.. so yes.. I want more R* PC ports.

You can optimize GTAIV like a super bitch on some PCs apparently.

He's just sad the main character isn't ball-grabbingly sexy.

Someone obviously hasn't played Red Dead Revolver. that game was really good, one of the best westerns I've ever played (besides Gun, that was a great game as well)

Call of Jaurez was horrible. Red Dead Redemption looks like the Clint Eastwood westerns I grew up watching. Can't wait to play it
