i'm actually looking forward to this..although given the completely broken mess the first one was i probably shouldnt be.

I do like the fact that the developers have been open about the first ones failings, and have put alot of effert to correct those failings.. by all acounts the previews of it so far sound promising.

I'm also interested to see what they do with online..as thats supposed to be a big part of it this time round

Nice bullshots. I bet it animates like a old man.

I actually applaud them for trying to redeem themselves after the utter embarassment that was the first game. Seriously, I don't think I've ever played a game as terrible as that - certainly not this generation anyway.

The sequel looks better, but not good enough for me to warrant much interest.

PROPER PROPORTIONS! =O
Looks good, but I hope it is way more polished then the first. So easy to just exploit the hell out of that game.

Come on GSY, this is your idea of being funny on April 1 isn't it? :P

Seriously though, i think they showed just how incompetent they were with the first two worlds, do we really need a second? I suppose they have remedied all their issues and now rise from the ashes with a splendid game but then i think about it for 2 seconds and realize that has a 0.01% chance of happening. Nah, i think i'll just wait for TES5 for my epic high-fantasy rpg-ing instead.

I'm not a huge RPG fan, but I absolutely loved the first game. Tough baddies would just flatten you at first, but once you got up your levels, smashing them is satisfying beyond belief.

It had some bugs, but nothing really bad. Any improvements are just extras as far as I am concerned.

Have you ever played an rpg that doesn't induce internal bleeding? Honestly, if you liked Two World, try playing Oblivion.

That's one of the few RPGs I've ever finished. Didn't like the levelling on the enemies and the main plot.

And that's why we have the mods. Just throw some Oscuro's Oblivion Overhaul on there and enemies will have set levels and loot is static. It makes a world of difference. All of a sudden, exploring and leveling up has significance. If you beat a really tough dungeon early on you'll get sweet loot that you couldn't get until you were lv 20+ in vanilla oblivion.

So is this game Demon Souls like, or a button basher?

Ya see.....screenshots like this make the game look good. But then once you get it in motion or your hands on it, then O gawwdddd!

i'm looking forward to this, mainly since it's loot system and the sheer amount and variety of armour/weapons absolutely DWARFED anything bethesda could come up with. sure the combat was just as shit as oblivions sword flailing mess, and sure the framerate was terrible (much like the 360 verion of oblivion when i think about it) but it was a fun, loot focused RPG.

the only thing that really bothered me was the piss poor voice acting, but at least you can say they used more then 3 people to voice their NPC's (more then can be said for oblivion tbh)

It's embarassing how you're implying that Two Worlds wasn't that far off the quality of Oblivion. Really, really embarassing.

About the game

What's up?
  • Melmoth
Melmoth the arcade shadow dancer is also nice, built on the same gameplay foundations as arcade shinobi, but a bit weaker level design. i also love rolling thunder 1&2, which are also very similar (4 Hours ago)
  • Melmoth
Melmoth i played a bit of shinobi and kunoichi on ps2, but they are really just shinobi in name. (4 Hours ago)
  • Melmoth
Melmoth game gear shinobi is more like the arcade version than the mega drive ones. (4 Hours ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX I'd love some kind of real Sega revival. (4 Hours ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX I like a bunch of Shinobi games. Even the Game Gear had great Shinobi games. Also the PS2 Shinobi was too quickly forgotten. (4 Hours ago)
  • Melmoth
Melmoth my fav Sega game is Shinobi (original arcade). I still play it now and then. I think they have other, more recognizable and iconic characters/brands, but for me those games don't hold up as well today (4 Hours ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX Wasn't really bashing it anyway. I love a lot of Sega stuff, and I think Shenmue is okay. Maybe a bit overrated is all. (4 Hours ago)
