With the bright colors and bump mapping, this game is screaming to be played in HD. Me and my poor low def TV :( Hopefully soon I'll be remedying that situation.

I can see where they're going with that trailer but it most be for cinemas, the way it's advertised.
Im in same situation as you 'ryan', still got a normal TV :P GRRR, Need HD :)
It looks really good, BLim must be smoking something saying its not his taste or whatever.
Anyway, the Kameo trailer on here a day or two ago was really good. Music was awesome.
Good trailer. Very movie like. Can't wait to get it at launch :)

Get used to Pal/NTSC, already ;-)
I think 95% of the People who buy an X360 this year dont have an HDTV. Me included.

I say the very serious voice and tone of the trailer is not really the best way to promote this game. That's my opinion.
I know my wife and a friend of mine who had no interest in the product beforehand were moved enough upon seeing it to say that they wanted to try it now.
As a trailer it's several times better than the Condemned travesty. I challenge you to watch that without cracking up at some point.. the guy must be drunk.
i m so glad i have at least an hd ready tv....
I think it's effective, too. I wouldn't really know how accurate it is in getting the themes across until I know just how LOTR-ed up it is since the original previews. All I've seen lately is badlands badlands badlands really.
