This looks great! Hopefully this will breathe new life into the series.

alelujah, god knows the MS franchise was stagnate like a bangkok whore. of the dodgy side.

So sick of the games last 3 games, i'll bet the prespective with introduce better gameplay controls and not so much big slow car, fast arcade weak stuff.

Has the Motorstorm developer fallen on hard times?

I agree with whoever said the tracks look too setup/predetermined.
I much prefer the style of Re-Volt tracks.
Surely this will be fun to play, but it means a lot to be able to drive through someone's kitchen, a museum, an office complex, grocery store, etc - an element that strengthens the sense of scale.

Makes me think of Micro Machines.

Could be fun.

There's a couple of maps i enjoyed in apocolypse
There's a few i enjoyed in the orginal.
But i enjoyed rift the most.

I see this as a inspiration on the old offroad game, than revolts.

After apocolypse, which launched alongside the whole japan tsunami disaster, then not being released in japan at all, and then launching late everywhere else. You could say that. Evolution recently said they thought it was the end of the franchise, but sony where willing to give them the support they needed. Clearly the francise as we know it has gone everywhere it could realistically go without feeling like a different game, and they where all amazing arcade racers, all of which making great replacments for my previous gen favorites ssx and burnout. Some of the best this gen, if not the best. But i do appreciate the change in direction. Micromachines meets motorstorm. Seems well suited for the vita.

I liked the physics based gameplay of the MS series, but other than that it's a very average series that got worse with time. This also looks very average from the screen shots but I'll withhold judgment til I see gameplay.

Re-Volt, one of the first games I got on the DC; Loved it!

Unfortunately for this game, it's launching (i think) along side wipeout which is going to be immense. I've loved all wipeout games a ton. Cannot wait for the Vita.

About the game

What's up?
  • KORNdog
KORNdog I mean, i get it, they're attempts at those sort of games (sunset overdrive, quantum break etc) havn't exactly captured the last of us level of quality, but it isn't a reason to stop trying. (1 minute ago)
  • KORNdog
KORNdog @Moonwalker: sounds like spencer is bringing games as a service to the forfront. Less traditional single player experiences, and if thats the case i have no interest what they're peddling. (2 minutes ago)
  • KORNdog
KORNdog @AndreasZ94: wouldn't bother me. My unbought list of games i want is about 10 games long already. That should serve me until 2018 easily. (27 minutes ago)
  • AndreasZ94
AndreasZ94 I hope we didn't get all the good stuff on the first half and the second half of the year is gonna be shit or something, lol. (1 Hour ago)
  • AndreasZ94
AndreasZ94 Wtf is going this year!? We got tons of amazing AAA games, most of them from Japanese devs and now we're getting tons of amazing indie games as well. (1 Hour ago)
  • Sdarts
Sdarts @Megido: The phrases people keep using about What Remains of Edith Finch are "unlike any other game of the genre" and "I loved this game while I didn't care for games like Gone Home and Ethan Carter". (1 Hour ago)
  • Megido
Megido And it's obviously down to taste. "Games" like Soma, for example, isn't for me. (3 Hours ago)
