After watching a PAX walkthrough, I can't wait for this.
Combat is great IMO, a bit Fable-ish but better.

Art is a bit World of Warcraft but less cartoony which is nice.
I hope the game is great overal, love action RPGs with good combat (damn you Dragon Age lol)

Reminds me a bit of Sudeki for the orginal Xbox.

Will keep an eye on this.

Hmm is it me or are we seeing loads of role playing games coming full force this year?

I'm attracted and slightly repelled by this. I'm confused.

@EViL_kRi: Sudeki was fun!

The stills look really nice but the game in motion was very stiff. I'm sure they have time to tweak it and smooth it out. It would be a real shame if it came out looking beautiful but playing rigid.

And I was thinking the same thing as EViL- it does remind me a lot of Sudeki!

Stiff? It actually looked to be really fluid and smooth, the combat reminded me of Ninja Gaiden actually and looks to be one of the best combat in a RPG yet.

Really? It looked incredibly fluid based on the PAX demo walkthrough.

I thought it was decent and meh combat at first glance, then i took a second view and i loved it lol
But yes, so far Kingdoms of Amaleur and Dragons Dogma have great combat systems it seems from the videos showned so far, for an acion RPG I would say the best ones.

I'm not sure about Dragon's Dogma; based on a Eurogamer preview I read a few weeks back, the only thing really going for it is how the boss battles are handled - the base of the combat is pretty standard apparently.

About the game

What's up?

Sdarts @MikeManiac61: Ocarina of Time innovated on a lot of things when it came out, from both technical and gameplay departments. Today, if you exclude Nostalgia, it's great, but not the best Zelda game. (3 minutes ago)
  • Melmoth
Melmoth @Sdarts:thought the controls looked interesting. having 1:1 (or close to) sword control instead of something like the wii version of twilight princess where swinging the wiimote just triggered actions (3 minutes ago)
  • Sdarts
Sdarts @Melmoth: Haven't played Skyward Sword to completion yet, but it's definitely a divisive game, people either love it or hate it. (6 minutes ago)
  • Melmoth
Melmoth @Sdarts: not often nowadays, sadly. For the other zelda games, i've got a MotionPlus controller, so i can play Skyward Sword. (9 minutes ago)

MikeManiac61 @MrWhite: Haven't played MM but I've seen gameplay footage and reviews and it looks more fascinating than OOT (13 minutes ago)
  • Sdarts
Sdarts @Melmoth: That's really nice, man. In a way, it's almost like you two played games together. I hope the family life hasn't stopped that, even if it's once or twice a year. (14 minutes ago)

MrWhite Majora's Mask -----> OOT. Yep, I said it. (20 minutes ago)
