Hate to be the harbinger of bad news, but FFvsXIII is never going to come out. FF13-2 is already coming out. You recall that they pulled people from the versus team to help finish 13, looks like they didn't go back.

Versus XIII is the next project to go into full production now that Type-0 and XIII-2 are done. You will see it next year for sure.

FFXIII as more then 6M copies sold and a 83% at metacritic. Also a 8.2/10 user raiting. Wheres the disappointment? I don't see it.
Maybe you haven't played it and thats why you can't see it !
Everythings a matter of taste in the end,but the good time of FF is long long past !
The now so called FF games are just watered down and a shadow of what made them so good in the day !
best thing about xiii was perhaps the battle system but even there i felt like it was smacked down hard like a red headed step child ...
the story was okay and i wanted to gnaw my ears out everytime Hope opened his mouth (in Japanese ... I would die if i played the EN version) ... for once getting the import didn't seem to matter ... xiii was disappointing ...
versus sounds better but I'm not sure about the whole Kingdom Hearts approach to battle ... story looks more interesting though
that new psp FF game takes the blood count to new levels in the series ...
