Focus Home Interactive has released a new trailer of Spiders' action-RPG The Technomancer which showcases the three dynamic and combat styles (Staff, Rogue with knife and gun, Protection with mace and shield). Set to release in early 2016.
Spider has never been a great studio, but they've always seemed to try to make interesting games, and with each game they've produced, have clearly improved and learned, which I respect them for a lot.
Curious to see how this'll turn out.
I do wish they'd figure out how to do high-res textures and AA though. It seems something they have problems with, somewhat bizarrely so, considering they actually seem to push their own custom engine fairly hard, with things like volumetric lighting, and pretty well-done post-effects.

I think textures arent the only problem. The video is very jittery which means they have issues with framerate. Really interested in this game, lets how it turns out.

I'm sorry, but that's nonsense. Jittery video means there's a problem with the video, not the game. I'm pretty sure the game will run smooth as butter.
Only looked at the stills but yeah...this doesn't look like something on current gen hardware. I hate to throw something like that out, because generally it's complete bullshit spouted by cretins...but this really looks like a nice looking game from last gen to me.
Other than that, i have no idea. What games have this studio made previously?

Watch the footage. Overall, I think definitely looks better graphically than say Fallout 4. It looks current gen for me, especially the modelling, which is pretty good.
Especially the modelling? Wat? Are you trying to tell me that you like the art style? I know my way around maya fairly well and i don't see anything that would make it stand out.
Watching the trailer didn't change my opinion much. It looks technically pretty bad, and i'm not that impressed with the design either. It looks really boring. Unfortunately.

Fallout 4 hardly looks stellar either.

I think the poly count of some of the models, particularly the environment seems pretty good. That is all. The art style seems fairly standard, but clearly an improvement on their previous efforts.
