The latest Famitsu Wave had some very surprising new images of DOA Online, with our favorites characters as... childrens ! When Itakagi told us he would shed some new lights on the DOA story, it seems he was definitely not lying !

Xbox2 I don't think so. Such details with the hairs requires an increbible amount of power.

Yeah, I would have to agree with the notion that such a thing isn't going to happen. I am learning to model as the focus of my research at my (temporary) university, and what must be understood is that hair on most models is composed less of polygons and more of texturing. This is why it is rare that in-game character models will have strands of hair modeled (and even then just a few). If you want to model thin strands of hair, just a few of those would require as many polygons as the whole lump of hair modern models curently sport. In other words, having hair like the kind Ayane sports in those shots would require something like in the tens if not hundreds of times of processing power in-game models currently require. Maybe, if technology moves quickly enough, two generations from now (i.e. Xbox 3). Rest assumed, it will happen one day not too far from now. ^_-
