EA added new cars to the five previously announced for Need for Speed The Run: BMW M3 E30 Sport Evolution, Volkswagen GTI Mk1, Mazda MX-5 and Nissan Fairlady 240Z. Screenshots are below.

It looks ok but when you compare it to BF3 which is the best looking game of all time, there's no comparison. An engine made for shooters should not be used for a racing game.

It will be great looking game and even better than NFS HP last year. Shift2 also looks damn good.

To be honest, this looks incredibly much like the last Hot Pursuit, i'd almost swear it was DLC for it.

If they could get past the sub-hd, low-res feel to it, this would look amazing. As it stands it just looks *pretty good*.

I like the sun-glare effect though. That was nice.

Gameplay vid is very jaggy, cars in front seem to have a very low level of detail.

Game looks identical to NFS Hot Pursuit infact i'd say it looks worse!!

That is the case with all racing games. They are just update of previous game.

It looks great. I am looking forward to it. E3 video was nice and has some QTE also lol.

Great, so they've got cars I give a sh*t about, but they probably won't let me modify them, plus I have to play 3rd-person people quicktime-o-ramas? PASS! NFS franchise is dead to me.

Yes the next game not made by Criterion is going to be better in the same genre. And its made by the same people who have been destroying the franchise with every game since Most Wanted. Yeah this game will rock.

Game looks amazing in the night. EA has Porsche license so that will surely be there. It is an arcade game so 3rd view is ok. I know most people play on that view or HUD. Cockpit view they are much slower and good for sim only.

Story in racing game is difficult to get it working but different cars in different situation with various mission it can be fun

The video is off putting.. I liked the screenshots but the gameplay is just terrible for me. Not even the slightest realism.

Need for Speed never has been about realism. As a matter of fact, get your f'n realism out of my street racing! You want "realism", go play Forza or Gran Turismo. Need for Speed is about street racing hot cars and modifying them.

The last great NFS was Most Wanted.
