Sweet, tons of new bosses. I can't wait :D
Bottom line: gamers should be kept informed about the post-processing of certain media (especially when released as "the real thing").
Tecmo continues expert on bullshoting to the highest level. We've gotta give it to them, they try harder than most.
Purplesome!
..next thing to do is to remove (post capturing) all screen tearing from your in-game movies with advanced software tools and release them as "real in-game movies". Sooner or later these practices will violate certain customer laws (in Europe).

Is coop new to the PS3 version? Better said, is it exclusive for NGS2, or is it present in NG2 as well?
They are going to show another mode, secret mode that is also new, but they haven't hinted at what it is.
Expect co-op footage up online soon, or by the end of this month.
This is how co-op works.
As expected, there is "Ultimate Ninpo" (watch GDC trailer) were both players use ninpo at the same time to unleash one big ninpo.
When a partner dies, its game over. If your partner or you is low on health you will need to be rescued, just like one of the images shows Momiji on the ground and Ryu is close by.
Below your health is your partners health, and I assume samething goes with the ninpo slots because theres two. One big (yours) and one small (your partners).
But as a hardcore NG fan, I can't wait to buy this.
Looks beautiful and plays beautiful...hopefully they have managed to fix those bad issues like enemy AI and enemy attacks and framerate and glitches from NG2, then it's all good.
One thing, Team NINJA will announce the EU/US release date this month and release a demo in September, just a heads up.
Okay that one stings.

Itagaki can badmouth his former Team Ninja colleagues all he wants, but they really do work hard.
All thats done is the expected, remains to see if the hard work is done (frame-rate, etc, etc) or it just pure butchering the original content (gore vs. purple fairy powder) witn no real improvents instead of the sparks and wonders of the new side missions.

Camera seems a bit better, visuals are better too.
But difficaulty and lag and glitches are what I want to see improved and polished.
About the blood vs the essence mist, its a new and fresh look of things for NG franchise.
Even though I prefer the gore, I welcome new ideas to evolve NG further, visually and gameplay and the essence mist for Sigma 2 does look pretty flashy, especially with all the blossoms falling down from the trees, as a great colorful atmosphere.
- Coop
- New 3 playable characters
- Way better graphics and crisp.
- Fixed camera.
- Better frame rate.
- and 720p native.
Who knew the PS3 could do 32X anti-aliasing!
Some real screens please Tecmo, we are not fools.
Ps3 has lots of games this year. props for Sony :D
Same thing Gose to Turn 10 with their 32X anti-aliasing looking cars "Forza 3".
higher res
But that all is not bothering me. It is that essentially NG2 was pure ASS compared to NGB, I can't see it changing here with a few extras, cause the basics are still the same. The only selling point they emphasize are the ninja whores they have now. No matter how much I like Ayane (or because I do very much) I wouldn't want to play her in that appearance.
- if you don't own a PS3 why do you bother posting and bashing this game? cause its on the system you don't own?
- and this Game is a totally remake it have many additional features like coop and 3 playble character and every character has a story that blends perfectly with Ryu's story.
here is a Kutako Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 Impression,
http://kotaku.com/5280179/ninja-gaiden-sigma-2-imp...
KOTAKU: Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 is a remake of Ninja Gaiden II, first released around a year ago on the 360, only this time it's bound for the PlayStation 3. It has a few new game modes (including online co-op), new characters and a whole range of fixes for the problems that plagued the 360 edition.
Firstly, and most importantly, the camera has been vastly improved over NG2's shoddy system (which was the main reason I never really got into the 360 game). No longer will it get stuck behind walls, or lag too slowly behind your character; it's crisp, maintains a constant following distance and zooms in and out of the action smoothly.
Also improved are the game's visuals. This looks better than the 360 edition. Cleaner textures, better effects, that sort of thing.
Bottom line: gamers should be kept informed about the post-processing of certain media (especially when released as "the real thing").
Game looks beautiful, only issue with the first sigma was the baked on lighting which marred an otherwise pretty and smooth(60fps) game.
@Viginti_Tres, we had a discussion lately in the Forza article, you said you don't own a PS3.

They shouldn't do a remake of a bad game but get their lazy asses up, take a step back and do a new one. I don't expect you to understand 'cause, omg, look it's better than the 360 version!
The only new main feature in NG2 were obligeration techniques and.....yes, nohthing else.
NG2 plays exactly like NG1(B). The action, the ninja atmosphere, the gameplay. Everything is also present in NG2 (yes, even the crappy story xD ) ..and now in NGS2.
Isn't it something that fans want from their games/franchises? - new elements without destroying the original game (?) Look at Halo 3. Just minor changes like equipment-items, 4 player Coop mode and some other little things. The game looks like Halo, it plays like Halo and it's just goddamn fun to play.
Same with Ninja Gaiden 2.
SIGMA 2 looks great and it plays great, just like NG2. Giving a great game even more great features isn't something I would call "lazy". For me as a fan, it's a gift.
I'd like to see Tecmo produce good titles but what they have done this gen is just run down the whole franchise around the DOA universe.
