Demo comes out on the 17th this month, btw


Can't wait for the game.

Pretty epic trailer and the game looks none too shabby, if this were my genre I might get it but I am not really into the rapid controller machinations required but this kind of game... I will check out the demo and see though as the last game of this type I played was one of the Onimusha series on PS2 so maybe I could get into this one...

I played NG2 on the 360, i need to get this, the additional features are awesome!

I absolutely LOVE it, can't wait to get my hands on it...after the demo next week :D

I liked the style of cloth they used in the trailer with that Vampire War prologue in the beginning, can't wait to see the rest of the comic with the game (during installation).
Fiend Ryu will be no doubt the best thing in this game in terms of challenge, especially with this type of combat, glad he is back in SP and co-op :D

PS. NGS trailer was a bit better than this though, had more action and had that badass feel to it.

Already pre-ordered the collector's edition, which is something I rarely do. The motion controlled breast jiggle sealed the deal. God bless Japan!

Haha same here, pre-ordered the CE edition...NG barely gets such a thing (NGS LE doesnt count ahaha)Download it from youtube in HD with the help of "downloadhelper" with firefox or from GT!

Or, download this one and play it on your PS3, if you have HDTV. Even if it is 720p you can play it...atleast I can without any slowdowns.

How much is the CE edition?

EU (that is where I am gonna get it from, if they censor the head removal I will get import it from Gamestop. All footages shows its uncensored, unless EU/US PSN demo says otherwise :D)

Both of them does, Gamestop is more expensive though, especially if youa re unlucky to get it border checked.
But just so you know, make sure to play the US and EU demo versions on PSN when they are out in 1-2 weeks BEFORE the game is out in US on 29th. There could be a chance of EU getting shafted again with censored version, meaning no head cutting, like the original NG.

But if you dont care for that, go for the one of your personal choosing.

game should be uncensored in europe, cause thq has confirmed that the game will be uncensored in germany. but compared to the 360 version, which was never released in germany, the ps3 version is censored in all countries

NGII is banned in Germany, yes. But this is uncut all over the EU, also in Germany - cause the gore is gone with Sigma 2.

Yeah _I like Momiji alot, why, because ever since NGDS was announced and saw her style I wanted her in NG2, but no dice. But now :)Obviously there is no gore in this game, so I wont mention that.
Sure the game isnt banned anywhere, but head removal is a debate we have on Ninjafortress forum right now. We have come up with proof, or me with images proving that when a character cuts the head off, it is still there, but the mist still shows up.

We came to conclusion, well most of us anyways, that the head removal might be in Japan because TKE (Tecmo Koei Europe) are on a tour in Europe countries and, London, Spain, Sweden and the showed the head is getting cut off, and the EU ratings wouldnt allow such a thing if TK came with a demo like that.
So the conlusion we came up with is, all versions are uncut that you ca cut the heads off, but one version is either cut just because we have seen it, or they were early built, which I doubt.

But the demo next week and the week after will tell us.

Japan will get the demo on 17th and US/EU will get it the week after because one person from Tecmo in facebook said that the demo is out in 2 week, then one week after the game is released in US.

See, I am hoping Tecmo doesnt pull that NG1/B/NGS stunt for EU again, very annoying.

But my gutfeeling is that EU is gonna be uncensored just like US, but a demo will tell.

Sorry for the long post, just want to make sure us EU gamers are aware of this.

So what I can add is, that there was no head-off-cutting in Ninja Gaiden 2004 all over the EU. But in Ninja Gaiden Black there was head-off-cutting all over Europe. Then in Ninja Gaiden Sigma the head-cutting gone again. I bought, and buy every DOA-Game... so @NGII/S2 on the one hand I will get my blood and on the other I will get my Momiji. But theres still no perfect edition all over the world. :(

Sidenote: Head-off-cutting is in Japan "not a cruel". Its a clean and fast dead. A good dead. Cutting of Arms and so on, thats a cruel. But in the EU theyve another feeling about that - dont no why, perhaps cause of france revolution or sth. like that.
